Did a great job fixing my bracelet. I love this place. Its like a jeweler from the future. Everything is so advanced. Great service. The staff members were all very nice and professional. Their response times were all timely. I had a watch strap created and it’s beautiful! I very much appreciate the quality of their work. I highly recommend to visit this store for jewelry repair and custom work!
I have waited a long time to review this experience because I initially enjoyed working with the staff, Charles and Nuket. I had a custom necklace done with enamel work. Never again. I had to return twice to get the proper work done. The enamel peeled off within weeks of getting it, initially. When the enamel came off the SECOND time I took it to a certified enamelist who informed me that the work done was not correct. The gold was not shaved deep enough in the chamber to allow the enamel to adhere to both itself and the gold below it. When I returned the second time, the manager had the audacity to whisper to Nuket the exact reason why it didn't stick. He stated in a whispered tone, "The enamel chamber isn't deep enough." This gentleman did not know I heard every last word. So when I spoke directly to him explaining what I was told, he never took any accountability. In fact, did not even offer to make it right without me having to pay an extra $600 for work that was not done correctly. Enamel should not come off after normal use, and certainly not after a year or two. My disappointment was in Charles and Nuket. Nuket heard her manager say what the problem was, but instead of standing up for me, the customer, she shrugged and remained silent. Charles was no better. He should have taken responsibility and fixed the issue, no questions asked. And you should not have promised proper enamel work, taken my money and treated your customer in this manner. I will never recommend this place ever again. The lake of ethics and consideration was appalling. Do not go!!!! Oh and this is Peggy Schaefer in case you want to say you don't have record of me.
This is my first time with Gems & Jewels. I had an antique gold heart padlock pendant fixed and they did such a terrific job. They even had it polished and made it look brand new! Jeff is very helpful and wonderful to deal with. I am a very happy & satisfied customer. Thank you!
I own a handmade charm from Indonesia gifted to me over 15 years ago—it holds more sentimental value than anything else I possess. After years of wear, it was tarnished beyond recognition. I was incredibly hesitant to bring it in anywhere for fear of it being ruined, but I finally took the risk, and boy am I glad I did. Gems and Jewels did an absolutely beautiful re-plating job. The wonderfully kind gentleman working rushed the repair (without me even asking), simply because I mentioned how important the charm was to me. This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. They were so kind and compassionate, and the care they showed for my sentimental piece was exceptional. I am so grateful I brought it in and cannot rave enough about how good of an experience I had with this shop! Not to mention the charm is absolutely beautiful again. Thank you so much to Gems and Jewels 💕
