We purchased a protection dog a couple months ago and could not be more happy. Was cautious at the start due to having young kids but due to a great selection process and assistance from the staff we were able to find the right dog for us. Terrific temperament great with kids and capable of everything as promised. Would not know Max is anything but a normal dog unless a stranger is around then the training kicks in. Great work guys, will be a life long customer.
We recently sent our rescue dog Nelly to PETS Training and Boarding for their two-week advanced obedience course. Nelly has a bit of a reactive streak, so we wanted to work on her leash manners and her reactivity around other dogs. While a two-week course isn’t a magic solution, it absolutely gave us a great foundation and the tools we need to continue working with her at home. The staff were incredibly lovely and took great care of Nelly. We also opted for the photo and video package, which was a nice way to get regular updates. Overall, I’d definitely recommend PETS Training and Boarding if you’re looking to help a reactive dog start off on the right foot
Highly recommend bringing your dog to Guard Dog Training. They took such great care of my boy, Rocky. I loved receiving daily updates from the team, including follow-ups on his behaviour and videos of him enjoying a new environment. As this was my first time bringing Rocky to a boarding school, those updates meant a lot. I’m very happy and satisfied with the experience and would definitely bring him back 🙂
Our 2 have been going to GDTC since they are 6 months. They both had their obedience training and GSD’s had his protection training from here and we can’t fault their service. My GSD just loves going there cos he loves all the walks and the training her gets. They both looks really happy and well looked after every time we pick them up and never had to worry about leaving them behind for long periods of time. We wouldn’t trust our dogs with anyone else.
OMG, GDTC team, you guys are the best! We picked up Skylar today, and watching what she learned in the advanced obedience training was insane, and even more mind-blowing when we tried it ourselves. It felt so good! Huge thanks to Aiden, the trainer, who was awesome, super detailed, and showed us how to correct her in different situations. He taught us how to handle all the anxiety and scary stuff, making it so much easier to understand and feel confident taking her home to keep up the training. Thanks, Luana, for the support, advice, and tips on handling situations. We appreciate the accessories that'll help us keep training her at home. Seriously, send your dog there – I can't recommend them enough! The training is worth every penny. We already see changes in her behavior around people and other animals. Thanks to the transport team, Alexis, and Linda, too, for making it so easy to enroll her. The picture updates and videos were a bonus and seeing her bond so well with all the lovely ladies, we honestly felt instantly comfortable from the moment we booked her in. I extend my gratitude once more. We will certainly consider bringing her back in the future, should any adjustments be necessary or if we plan to be away for an extended period. It is truly reassuring to know that Skylar has a wonderful family whom I can depend on to provide her with excellent care. 🥰🥰🥰
