Extremely unprofessional. So hard to find. came five minutes late because it was so hard to find and the esthetician left. Called them and they told me she left at 7 and my appointment was at 7:30. She wouldn’t have been there regardless if I was on time and no one communicated that.
Maiya, did my wax she was great I got a full Brazilian wax. If it’s you’re first time getting waxed I highly recommend. 10/10
She was funny and patient. I feel uncomfortable being bottom half naked so in the beginning I was shy knowing she was gonna see everything but my cervix LOL. I’m considering the monthly subscription!
Decided to try the $20 first time client deal. The results were fine and the service was quick. The experience was not ideal though. -Communication was only via text- you cannot talk to an person- and it wasn’t clear to me that this wasn’t a storefront but a room in the Salon Lofts, so I wandered around for a while. - When I attempted to checkin by phone, my appointment couldn’t be found. -The room was run-down looking- some holes in the wall, and crowded. Not a relaxing or aesthetic atmosphere. Doesn’t match the photos at all. -Typically I’ve had the aesthetician leave when I’m getting ready but in a single room studio that didn’t happen. -there was not paper on the bed like I’m accustomed to. Hoping she sanitized the surface between appointments… The results were fine, so no complaints there, but if I had been paying full price, I would not feel it was worth it.
This was my first visit to Hello Sugar and I was impressed! Alexis did an AMAZING job! I am always so nervous when I have a wax appointment and she naturally made it such a calm experience for me. The wax was nearly painless and quick! Great service and price point! I will definitely return!
