Raoul and crew did an awesome job packing and moving us!! They wrapped everything with care and provided detailed descriptions of what was in the boxes. They moved all of our items with precision and care and even went WAY above and beyond when a dresser didn't look like it would make it up the stairs! Would totally use them again!! Fantastic service!!
I hired Hernia Movers to unload a 16' PODS container. 2 guys (Craig and Lucas) showed up right on schedule and did a phenomenal job. They unloaded the PODS container in about 2 hours. This was about 2 bed rooms, 1500sqft worth of stuff and up a flight of stairs to an apartment. Total cost was $455 @ $188/hr + transit time. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for labor to help with a move.
I used Hernia movers 3 years ago to unload a U-Haul when I moved to WI - no issues. The 3 guys were on time, nice and professional. I decided to use them again when it came time to move out and load up my U-Haul to move across the country again (they were aware we had a long drive ahead of us with everything). Again the 3 guys were on time, nice, and professional. They were fast too! The cost was $248/hour (!!) for a weekday this time around (closer to $150/hour 3 years ago - no obvious increase in work effort or value) and it took 5 hours - about $1300 all in, which is wild. I rented about 30 blankets from U-Haul to protect furniture and also purchased plastic coverings designed for certain pieces. Upon arriving at my new home, I found that every piece of wood (real wood, not particle board) furniture was chipped or scratched or dirty - mostly all of the above. They didn't use most of the blankets or any of the plastic coverings. I'm very disappointed with the quality of packing the truck despite the tools they were given. Note that every box I packed myself and nothing is broken so far in my unpacking. So it wasn't the truck or other packing concerns.
We just used Hernia Movers to move apartments. They were recommended by our son who had used them. A+. Excellent local company. Great customer service on the phone booking the move. The two young men who moved us were courteous, clean, worked hard and were careful with all the items. Just great. Best movers I have ever used.
Hernia movers were hired to assist with a complex down sizing for the in-laws and move out. Of the three times that we used the services to clear out a 2500 sq ft house and distribute it to four address I have been impressed with the crews service and speed. They charge hourly and you definitely get your money worth. These guys work quick. Payton and Drew did a 5 star job. The office staff has been easy to work with and easy to schedule with, and I appreciate their professionalism.
