I recently had the first floor of my home in Riverdale painted by this company. They did a terrific job. Everything was first-rate, from the initial estimate to the painting itself to the cleanup. Kudos to the lead painter; I think his name was Nassir. Highly recommended.
I had such a wonderful experience with Home Painters! The team was a sheer pleasure to work with—always friendly, professional, and incredibly attentive to details. They worked with impressive speed without ever compromising on quality, and the results turned out beautifully. I couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality painting service!
Absolutely the worst experience. I used them a few years ago and they ruined my brand new deck and fence to the point that it is still ruined to this day. Yes, their experience looks great on paper but Brian had no idea how to stain a deck yet took the job anyway. They applied solid stain (basically paint) to a brand new, unfinished, $150k deck. I chose a semi-solid colour from a picture and somehow he ordered a solid. Anyone with experience would have advised me that even a semi-solid wasn't a good idea, a new deck is the best time to use a light stain that shows the wood grain (solids are for after the deck has wear and you want to hide it). We asked repeatedly for it to be stripped and redone and he would not. Outright refused. He made us PAY to have it re-done in solid stain and it looked terrible after a month, peeled in so many places. We ended up having the entire deck and fence re-done by another company and it was much better. But it still had to be in solid stain because of Brian's mistake and still has to be touched up every single year because of the elements. I do not recommend you use a company that shows no accountability when an error is made. And no Brian, making us pay $5000 to have a deck redone after you screw it up is not accountability. It's pure greed. Feel free to contact me to strip the entire deck and redo it as you should have done the first time. You won't, but the option is there to redeem yourself.
The workmanship, communication, and pricing were overall great. However, better to spend time finding your own colour even when rushed then to follow their recommendations. We had provided pictures of what we wanted, they then provided some recommendations. We don't have much experiences with colours and designs so decided to trust them as they are the professionals in the field. The colour turned out to be nothing like what we wanted. We wanted a bright grey, whereas the result was a ivory creamy colour. When asked why it didn't look grey at all, we were told this is a colour they used often. I guess at the end of the day the house is brighter which was the goal, but now we are stuck with a colour we don't love.
I wanted to wait a couple months to post my review but after 6 months now I must say I am incredibly impressed with my kitchen cabinets. Truly Amazing company and Mickey the painter was a pleasure to deal with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and I would certainly use this company again. Thank you Home Painters Toronto :)
