Jesse is an incredible guitar teacher. As a student with a very limited background in guitar, I love how patient and encouraging Jesse is. I really enjoy the pace of his lessons, where he emphasizes reinforcing techniques from previous lessons, while introducing enough new material that doesn’t feel overwhelming. I also appreciate that Jesse took the time to send me responses on a couple of questions that I had in between lessons. I highly recommend Jesse as a guitar teacher, even if you are fairly new to the guitar, like me!
Jesse is a very helpful teacher and an inspiring artist. I took flamenco guitar lessons with Jesse after having years of guitar experience but was new to flamenco, and I started progressing exponentially. He is very encouraging and makes difficult rhythms and techniques feel intuitive. I’d highly recommend Jesse if you want to improve on guitar!
Jesse is a great guitar teacher, extremely patient and skilled. I came to him to learn songs that I love on guitar and he has been so supportive and makes learning both fun and engaging. He meets students wherever they are at with encouragement and enthusiasm. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a teacher.
Working with Jesse has made me a better guitar player and a more inspired student on my flamenco journey. Jesse’s teaching approach combines good humor and infectious enthusiasm with serious attention to detail. He creates a fun, comfortable environment to explore and make mistakes. Jesse brings a wealth of performance experience to each lesson, grounding his teaching in practical approaches to accompanying singers and dancers. He is also a trained technician able to offer helpful exercises for drilling on flamenco’s challenging techniques. Anyone who has seen Jesse perform knows he is a gifted player. His lessons provide insight into making some of the magic for yourself.
Jesse has been an awesome instructor/coach for my 7th grader. They have worked together for several years and my son has developed tremendously as a musician under Jesse. Jesse helped my son to prep for auditions and land a spot on the school jazz band, as well as he works with him to learn all of his guitar songs that my son plays at our church. He meets his students where they are and works hard to help them elevate their own talents through clear instruction in 1:1 sessions weekly. Aaaaannnd you can always ask for extra time and Jesse will work out arrangements to find more time for your student leading up to important performances. Jesse even invited students/families to his own performances to demonstrate/model where the students can go.
