I woke up yesterday and never heard of musubi with spam and bacon. I didn’t realize how empty my life was until I tasted that. Somewhat tongue in cheek yes. But delicious. And the garlic, soy chicken wings were also top notch. Everyone was nice and friendly. Beautiful lunch on the K St. mall. Highly recommended.
This was my first time here and the staff were very helpful with suggestions. The original Koja and waffle fries was my pick per her suggestion and I wasn't disappointed. Great flavor, a little messy, and very filling. Have a few slop mops (napkins) ready for the mess of flavors about to dribble forth. I'll definitely be going here again.
Food was great. The service was fantastic. First time there and the guy working the counter was helpful and shared ideas as well as combinations of food and drinks. Definitely a dangerous place since I live one block away.
Love this place, definitely a curve ball of tastes on the menu, it’s Same same. But Different! Koja Kitchen is a flavor explosion! Their Korean-Japanese fusion is next-level delicious—think crispy rice buns, juicy short rib, and bold, savory sauces that hit all the right notes. The Kamikaze Fries are a must-try, and the vibe is casual yet cool. Perfect for a quick, satisfying meal that feels like a culinary adventure. Koja Kitchen, you’ve got a fan for life!
I loved the location of this place and they offer outdoor and indoor seating. The staff member who assisted me was so sweet! She was kind, personable, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made suggestions, gave personal opinions, and took their time to make me feel comfortable. The menu is pretty big and there’s a ton of different options. I opted for the beef dish, wings, and a mint lemonade. The food is pretty good the only down side for me was the size of the wings they were huge. The beef was marinated well but still had a strong sweetness to it. Every bowl comes with kimchi, rice, and a side salad which is a great portion of food. The lemonade was nice and refreshing just a little on the sweet side. Another aspect I loved was the detail they put into packing my to go order, they rubber band each item to ensure nothing spilled I loved that. Overall I had a pleasant experience and I’m willing to go back to enjoy their late night outdoor bar on the weekend.
