i walked to la cosette while on my lunch break as i work in the area and the moment I stepped inside I was warmly greeted by Chef Ahlem who made me feel comfortable and welcomed inside her cafe. I was looking at the beautiful display of pastries when she handed me their menu offering drinks and other types of food options. I could tell how passionate she was by the way she described everything! I ordered an almond croissant, fruit tart, and the cosette espresso to go. the cosette espresso had a nice sweetness while still tasting the fresh espresso. a good wake me up to help finish the rest of my work day. the croissant was baked beautifully and the filling was super delish! I had the fruit tart later when I got home and oh my gosh it was so good. the custard, the fruits, such a lovely combination!! but even better was getting to know chef ahlem and her husband. they encouraged my beginner level french and we were able to connect and get to know each other. I was treated so kindly and felt like a long time customer despite only being there for the very first time. I love la cosette and can't wait to go back!!
La Cossette Pastry Shop is absolutely delightful! The pastries are fresh, beautifully made, and bursting with flavor, you can truly taste the care and craft in every bite. The shop itself has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff always make you feel right at home. Whether it’s grabbing a morning croissant, treating yourself to something sweet, or picking up a box to share, La Cossette is one of those places that instantly becomes a favorite. We are visiting from out of town and this place was recommended. Needless to say we are extremely impressed! The pastries and food are AMAZING!! We had a larger group and ordered many different items and everything was SO fresh and delicious! The croissants are 10/10! The staff are so friendly and make sure everything is perfect! Wish we lived closer just to come here! We will definitely be back!
Cute little place perfect for grab and go. There is seating available but it is limited and the tables are small. The staff are super friendly and kind; service time could be improved. If you are in a rush this wouldn’t be the spot for you. The prices are great value for the drinks and sandwiches. They will definitely satisfy for a light meal. The dessert case is stunning and will be perfect for any sweet tooth. I ordered the croissant sandwich and iced matcha for eat in then took the pistachio raspberry cake to go.
I need you to understand how great their fruit tarts are! So delicious! A perfect blend of flavors and textures. Sweet but not too sweet. 😙👌Otherwise, This delightful French bakery has large, delicate, delicious croissants in a variety of classic flavors. I love that they slice and fill their chocolate, pistachio, and almond croissants with the respective filling. I’d rank them above poupon on croissants, and very happy to have them so nearby. It’s within walking distance of most of Locust point, and has street parking in the mornings down fort ave. This will probably become a breakfast staple for me.
