Jan 2026 Came for the frosted dome experience. Service was 10/10, the guys were super friendly and attentive. Environment and atmosphere was magical at night. We didnt feel cold at all, heaters and blankets were provided and we didnt feel the need to use them, but they warned us ample times so we dressed warm. Only half a star deduction is for the food itself. Again credit to the team, they use this ingenious method of transporting foods in big thick bags and carts and obviously the labour and service is appreciated. But naturally with food being walked outside in -20 its going to get cold. So do not expect a piping hot fresh out the kitchen meal. Our steak was warm but not hot and gets cold easily and quickly in our dome if we took our time to eat. Lastly another half a star deduction for the overall price. You pay a fee to book the experience (over $100) and then you pay table d'hote (119$) and then you pay for extras like 8 oz steak (which is totally optional) so overall for two people you're spending well over $250 easily at MINIMUM. We got drinks too so you're looking at $450 + tax and tip. Its a once a year experience which we don't mind paying and obviously its old port prices but still damn that hurts the wallet.
I got the duck and it was amazing!! It was a tad bit dry but still good even alone. However, when you pair it with the sauce and mashed potatoes, it was phenomenal! I got an Amaretto Sour and a Pink Paradise and they were both such amazing drinks! The service was nice but it would’ve been nice to be checked on a bit more throughout the night. It also took a while to receive our drinks and they took the water bottle and didn’t refill it until the end. Our server Mary was amazing as well!! she was super kind and helpful! The place is beautiful and I would definitely dine here again!
A thoroughly enjoyable evening! The food was top shelf and arrived at the perfect temperature. I had the duck as my main course - one of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Our server, Felix, was personable, friendly, very informative about the whole experience and just a pleasure to deal with. If you’re worried the food is sub-par or the service too slow, don’t be! I was here last year and am dining here again in 3 weeks- this is an absolute Montreal winter experience you must try! 😁
Shoutout to our server Mary and she was fantastic! She was very accommodating, explained all the information needed, very kind and not boring at all. I recommend her! In all the ambiance, food service and food quality is excellent. I would recommend the filet mignon, medium rare! Pricey but worth it!
The setting is really quite enchanting. The domes are so beautiful, with really great lighting, cozy atmosphere, heating ventilation, Bluetooth speakers for your own music, and great view of Montreal's old port at night. One thing that really stuck out for us was the service. Both Felix and Jeremy were so courteous, polite, quick and really hospitable. We are so grateful for them two keeping the drinks flowing, keeping the cool dishes cool and warm dishes warm despite it being -8C outside here tonight. Not an easy task but they were very successful at keeping everything as intended. Thank you for such a special experience.
