Super friendly staff, decently timed classes and affordable rates. My child loved it, loves learning things and showing me what’s been learned. Accepts kids from 4+ Overall is really good business.
My daughter has been a student for about 8 years since the age of 4. In that time she has gained so much. Besides learning self defense and martial arts, she has learned to be confident in herself, a leader among her peers, self driven, and how to show respect for others while demanding respect herself. And in the process she has earned her 2nd degree black belt. The instructors and staff at Master Khechen’s in Buffalo are amazing. They are dedicated to each and every student. They are enthusiastic about their martial arts and sharing it with their students. They have truly built an amazing community of support and learning. P.S…..Miss Liz enhances any class with her wity charm and pizazz!
Was looking for a sport my son would feel comfortable with. Was suggested to try out this school and my son took to it right away. The family environment and high energy made him feel right at home which made me want to join also. We've been growing strong with this school for 5 years. Highly recommend.
We absolutely love Master Khechen's taekwondo! Our son has been training for a month now, and I recently joined him on this incredible journey. What started as an activity for our child has become a transformative experience for our entire family. The staff here is truly exceptional - they're not only skilled instructors but also genuinely caring individuals who take the time to understand each student's unique needs and abilities. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, they meet you exactly where you are and help you grow from there. The supportive atmosphere they've created makes everyone feel welcome and encouraged. We've found a community that celebrates progress, no matter how small, and pushes us to be our best selves both on and off the mat. This place is INCREDIBLE the instructors are the best of the best at building confidence and meeting the kids where they are. The things that set them apart from the others we toured are: 1. Master Hogan, Mister Pitts and Ms Liz were informative and concise about the program gave us time and think it over and offered us more time to try it out to be sure that we loved it. It is a big financial commitment, worth EVERY Penny. 2. The diversity in the classes amongst the students and instructors. There are women who lead classes, men who lead, plenty of people of color in leadership roles. The dynamic is unmatched. Representation matters. 3. The school is involved in the community whether it is setting up a table at an event or a community service project. I would recommend this to EVERYONE any age and they have classes for all ages and skill levels.
