My 3rd grader kept saying how much she hated math, but after a month at Mathnasium, she has shown so much more confidence and willingness to engage in math. And, surprisingly, she is always happy to go and get her math workout at Mathnasium. I think she feels a sense of independence walking into the center, pulling her workbook down from the shelf, and taking charge of her own learning. This place is certainly setup to provide all the best ingredients of learning to help kids strengthen their math muscles so they can keep up in school.
Mathnasium of Rockridge is an outstanding learning center! From the moment you walk in, they greet each student by name, creating a warm, welcoming environment that gives a strong sense of community. The center is always clean and calm, which makes a big difference in helping students focus. My daughter especially loves the soft, calming music they play while she works—it really enhances her learning experience. What stands out the most is how much care and attention the team gives to understanding each child’s individual needs. They’ve taken the time to truly get to know our daughter and tailor their support to help her thrive. We feel very fortunate to have found this center!
We’ve had a great experience with Mathnasium! The staff is friendly, professional, and truly invested in helping students build confidence and skills. One of the biggest wins for us has been how they helped my 8th grader stay ahead during the summer. Instead of falling behind, they stayed engaged, kept learning, and even picked up new skills before the school year started. The individualized learning plan and positive environment made a huge difference. Highly recommend to any parent looking for real academic support in a welcoming, encouraging space.
Our daughter was struggling with high school algebra. Despite a great start, she stumbled midway through the year. The folks at Mathnasium were able identify areas in which to shore up and with their help, she’s starting get her confidence and grades back up. Highly recommended.
My son really enjoys going here and his math has improved. The staff is consistent, the communication is strong, the scheduling system is easy to use and the rewards keep him very motivated. Highly recommend if you have a student who needs some extra assistance or who is already great at math and wants more challenge.
