I visited Maverick’s Barbershop on Herschel Ave as a walk‑in, and from the moment I arrived, Paige delivered an exceptional level of professionalism and care. She greeted me warmly, confirmed whether I had an appointment, and immediately made me feel welcome. After preparing her station, Paige asked what style I had in mind. Once I explained, she went above and beyond — showing me reference photos and discussing options that would best suit me. Her approach was thoughtful, precise, and unlike anything I’ve experienced before. It felt as though she was designing a project with the skill and intention of an engineer or architect. Paige transformed my overgrown hair into a clean, polished style with remarkable attention to detail. Throughout the entire process, she was courteous, focused, and highly professional. The experience was so impressive that I signed up for Maverick’s monthly membership on the spot. If you’re looking for a barber who combines technical skill with genuine care and professionalism, I highly recommend booking with Paige at Maverick’s. Josa hooked it up with a great haircut!! Super friendly and was able to execute what I asked for perfectly. I’m from out of town for new years and needed something quick and he happily took me as a walk in :) would recommend this place. Nice people and a quality cut at a fair price.
I want to start this off by saying that my barber was really nice and I’m not trying to offend her whatsoever. With that being said, this place is a complete facade. It comes across as really nice and the price is really high, but that doesn’t even remotely translate to the quality of haircut. The haircut took over an hour for it to look like a 10 minute fade from great clips. I understand certain barbers do not specialize in skin fades and if that’s the case don’t offer them? Idk aside from her being so sweet there wasn’t much else this place offers. Save your money.
Great experience!! Our 2 year old was not a fan of haircuts but the staff was awesome! Haircut was not just successful but perfect! Our appointment was right on time and actually able to fit grandpa in right after! Price was very reasonable.
Worst haircut I have ever received. Appointment was for 2:30pm didn't get attended until 3pm. Service was pleasant. Jazmin was very nice but cannot cut hair. Super expensive and horrible haircut. I asked for a skin fade but received a bowl haircut. See pictures
