We have always had a positive experience with this practice. Dr. Hawkins is especially wonderful with adolescent girls — patient and able to connect in a way that makes them feel comfortable. Appointments do not feel rushed. The staff is friendly, organized, and professional. We truly appreciate the care and attention this team provides and highly recommend them, especially for families with adolescent daughters.
Doctors are overall very knowledgeable; however, the administration is very weak. They made us wait for 2hr on two occasions and usually fail to communicate properly and manage expectations, plus most of the staff at the front desk have an attitude - like they’re doing you a favor (there are a few exceptions of course) but would not recommend coming here if you are looking for a prompt service but if you have time to spare, by all means you will get good quality service (once you see a doctor or a qualified resident)
To Whom It May Concern, Yesterday I brought my son in for a follow-up appointment during sick walk-in hours. We've been coming to this facility for four years, and every time, the TV in the sick children's waiting area has been broken. My son has special needs, and having something familiar and comforting—like a working TV—makes a big difference in helping him stay calm. When he sat in the general waiting area to watch the working TV, a front desk staff member told him he couldn’t sit there because it wasn’t for sick children. I understand the need to separate sick and well children, but if that’s the policy, then the sick area should be equipped with the same comforts. Fixing the TV is a simple solution that would prevent unnecessary stress and disruption. My son doesn’t understand why he has to move, and when he’s confused or upset, he may act out. I worry that staff might misinterpret his behavior and escalate the situation unfairly. He’s not being defiant—he’s disabled and needs support, not judgment. A sick child, especially one with special needs, deserves comfort just as much—if not more—than a well child. I’ve decided to buy him a tablet to help him cope during visits, but I hope this facility will take steps to make the sick waiting area more accommodating. Thank you for your attention.
Check in was a breeze, the women at the front desk helped my daughter check in on her own. The MA and Resident were both very kind and helpful. Dr. Holder is a phenomenal physician, we waited a little while but it’s expected. We were able to ask questions and she took her time and was thorough. The exam room was clean and everyone that entered cleansed their hands before interacting with my preteen. 10/10 experience!
Great office that works hard to get you in and out quickly. Dr. Reitman is an excellent adolescent doctor. Both of my teenage boys really connected with him. He gave them his number if they ever needed to connect him. Been going here for many years.
