Extremely professional and explained things she was doing that were different. I haven't felt this good after a massage ever. Definitely going back as often as I can
I have been seeing Cholena for the past six years for a bad back and does her aches and pains. She's the best I live in Utah and come up to Boise once a month for at least two visits. She's always been able to work around my schedule and work me in even if it means working Sundays or off hours. And I highly recommend her to all my friends and family.
I’ve been going to Cholena for almost 2 years now, and each time she does a fantastic job working through knots and tight muscles. These massages aren’t very relaxing in the moment because she gets deep into the fascia to release the tension at the source. I usually feel a bit sore afterwards, but my muscles are noticeable more relaxed for a few days.
I found Cholena on Google after searching for a message therapist that wasn’t some cookie cutter therapist. After reading the reviews I had to try her. And boy was it amazing. She was so in tune with my body. I weight lift and play hockey so I am extremely tight and larger. She knew exactly what she was doing. She followed energy in my body as it flowed to the spots issues were stemming from and worked on them. I scheduled a 90 minute massage but she worked on my for almost 2 hours. She wanted to make sure I was in a state to leave and not just be done cause time ran out. She explained everything she was doing and was very easy to talk to. I definitely plan on seeing her again, not only for deep tissue therapeutic like I did but for more relaxing style massage as well. Thank you again Cholena.
Super disappointed in the company - messaged and got an appointment mid day on a Tuesday for an evening appt. - I got a text an hour before my appointment that Ms. Steele was running a 1/2 hour behind - before I could respond to that text I then got a text that her son unexpectedly needs to be picked up. So she is canceling the appointment. Ok I can manage that. Family first. I rescheduled for the next day “asking specifically for a good time that she would be available” and she said that 12p would work for her. I scheduled for the next day at 12p. I received a detailed text from her with specific instructions and I followed the directions (which among a few other things asks you not to knock on the office door just text) I did so at 12p on the nose - then at 12:15 I get a text “awesome!!” A couple min later I get a call from Ms Steele - “ I got out of my other job late and can you wait another 15 min for me to arrive?” That would make her over 35 min late to my appointment. But at this point it is not possible to trust her time mgt in my view. I could not give her another 35 min of my time. I have appointments that I am NOT going to be late for due to her. So I canceled the appointment. I HIGHLY recommend that you DO NOT WASTE your time - I have lost over two hours of my personal time within less than 16 hours due to Ms. Steele. I texted her and said l “please remove me from your contact list” - her response was “No worries. I try to fit everyone in. But life happens. Good luck.” She did not meet her commitment - wasted my time and I still do not have the massage I wanted. “Life happens” - I would Love to able to say that to my clients!
