I have been a client of Coach Charlie's for over 3 years now. I've done his group classes and also been a private training client. Charlie is a certified pre and post natal trainer. I attended his group fitness classes up until I was 8 months pregnant and Charlie was able to tailor the class so that I could continue to participate. Maintaining my fitness and strength while pregnant helped me to feel great throughout my pregnancy and made my recovery that much easier. I also started personal training with Charlie 8 weeks post partum. Charlie helped me build up my core from scratch and get me back to burpees and running by the end of my maternity leave. Charlie tailors his workouts to target the areas that women need to work on in order to maintain strength and mobility. I feel so lucky to have found Charlie and the group of amazing women, whom I call friends. Working out with Charlie is not just a good health habit, but the foundation to enable me to have a full and active life for all the years to come. Thanks Charlie!!
I have been working out with Charlie for over 5 years in his small group classes which I attend a few times a week.I am in my 70's, and I know I have become stronger, and my clothes fit better. I enjoy the friendly community of women. Charlie offers a safe and clean space, and he paces the class well for students of different levels.
N Motion Fitness is the best if you’re looking to get into shape and also be part of a wonderful community of supportive and fun women. The thing I love the most about Coach Charlie’s classes is his focus on providing women a safe and nonjudgmental environment to use weights, have the right form, and build strength – something that I think a lot of other gyms don’t do a great job of. It’s been awesome to watch my strength and endurance build up, both in little things like being able to put my luggage in the overhead bin of a flight by myself, and bigger things like hiking Upper Falls trail in Yosemite without much additional training outside of Coach Charlie’s classes. However, the best part of the N Motion is 100% the community. All the ladies at the gym are so kind, supportive, and fun. N Motion is truly a unique gem and I highly recommend!
Highly recommend! I've been taking Coach Charlie's classes for over two years – and they are such an important part of my week. Always a solid workout. And a welcoming community. I started Charlie's classes as a way to get active again after losing a lot of momentum during the pandemic. It was exactly what I needed to not only get back into it, but to continue to exercise regularly. Charlie is the best!
I've worked out with Charlie for over a decade and he's a fantastic coach. When I started working with Charlie I'd never lifted weights before and he did an excellent job of demonstrating the exercises and making sure I was doing them with proper form. As I've progressed in my fitness journey, Charlie still provides form checks, but also pushes me to challenge myself with weights. Most importantly, Charlie is super good at keeping the class entertained and the time really flies by!
