While the food at the bistro is consistently fabulous, I'm writing specifically with regard to our truly exceptional catering experience. Nathan and his team recently provided dinner + late dinner for our ~100 person wedding, and I just can't say enough good things. They exceeded every expectation we had; from the very first conversations, promptly and kindly answering my many, many questions, to the final delicious bites served at the end of the night, they delivered professionalism, warmth, and absolutely unforgettable food. They accommodated allergies and dietary needs without hesitation. Everything on the buffet was beautifully prepared, perfectly timed, and served with genuine care. The entire process was seamless and stress-free; on the day of the wedding, staff on hand were friendly and efficient - we didn't have to fuss over a single thing. And our guests are still raving about the food! Some folks have told me it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. NAK's helped to make our wedding day even more special, and we are endlessly grateful. We recommend them wholeheartedly!
We would never recommend this company for a wedding or if anyone has allergies. When we initially went for our tasting we had discussed that there was an allergy and we were thrilled that Nak's, at that point, had gone above and beyond to ensure everything in the tasting menu was allergy free and tasted great. We booked them for our wedding because of this. Come the wedding day, and after confirming on a few occasions that the dinner would be allergy free, we find out that nothing we agree to for our menu was honoured and only the rice and white buns could be safely eaten. On top of that, they did not show up at the time they said they would and the quality of the food was severely disappointing, nothing even close to what we had at our tasting. Also, check your invoice! We inquired about dinnerware rentals and because we didn't realize it wasn't charged for, we didn't have any dishes or cutlery provided to us on the wedding day. We could not have been more disappointed with this company and especially with their handling of an allergy.
We hired Nak's to cater our wedding for 70 people. Email communication was amazing during the whole planning process. My husband is celiac and they made sure that we had an entire buffet worth of delicious food that he could eat while also catering to other allergies. We were running behind schedule and the staff handled everything perfectly. Guests raved about the food all night. If i could give this team more than 5 stars I would.
We hired Naks for our 150 person wedding and the experience was amazing. From tastings to planning, there was great support at every step of the way. The food was fantastic, and we had multiple guests express how pleased they were with it. Would hire again for future events. Thanks Nathan!
Went here for lunch and it was great! The food tasted healthy, price was right and the staffs were friendly! It was pleasant to meet the master chef himself. We also placed an order for catering. Super excited for that day to come! Can't wait for the feast! Update: Everyone loved the food and it was great! Highly recommend!
