We love Nese Kids Care so much! Both of our children (3 and 1) have been at Nese Kids Care since they were just a few months old, and we feel so lucky we found them. Every teacher knows both kids and shows them so much love and care. They nurture them through milestones (for example, they were incredibly supportive with potty training) and help them develop important behavior and social-emotional skills. Now at age three, my daughter is loving learning things like letters, numbers, weather, traffic signs (with still plenty of play time and outdoor time every day). She has always had strong verbal skills and I credit Nese for that. The teachers were attentive and helpful with the physical therapy exercises both kids needed as infants. We trust their advice and know they truly care about our family. Communication is excellent. We get regular updates and photos throughout the day, monthly calendars and newsletters, and personalized evaluations of our kids' development at least twice a year. There is also a back to school night. Whenever our kids have been having a challenging time at home or school, the staff works with us as a team. They also offer thoughtful extras like after care, Parents’ Night Out, and fun community events such as Trunk or Treat and the pumpkin patch. Our kids just love seeing their teachers at these events. There are also optional enrichment classes you can sign your kids up for like yoga, music, dance, and sports. Special summer programming include things like water day, petting zoo, and special visits from characters like Moana!
We are so grateful to be a part of Nese Kids Care and adore the care our daughter receives. She first started attending daycare in February 2025 when the center was under different ownership. When the new owners took over this past summer, we were grateful to hear they were committed to maintaining the staff. The teachers are the heart and soul of the childcare center and a big reason why we are so thankful for this facility. Our daughter was only 4 months old when she started and it was a major adjustment to trust someone else with her care. We immediately felt so comforted by the way her teachers learned her preferences, worked with us to optimize her experience and demonstrated such loving care. She developed such strong relationships with Ms. Diana, Ms. Jazz and Ms. Jianna. We were delighted to see photos regularly throughout the day of her activities and updates of her naps, meals, diaper changes, etc. We were particularly impressed with how well Ms. Diana was able to get our little one to take a bottle. Her teachers bring out the biggest smiles and she gets excited when we start walking up to the building. She is now in classroom 2 with the older babies and loving her new teachers, Ms. Jessica and Ms. Brook. The new owners have done an incredible job fostering a sense of community. They held an adorable, festive pumpkin patch as well as an awesome trunk-or-treat for the kiddos and have continually been making enhancements, such as offering aftercare for evenings and Friday evening care for parents' night out. They are also looking to add a garden and have updated much of the well-loved equipment. The owners are an active part of the daycare and attend events and have been accessible for feedback and communication. They also have a new baby (he's adorable!) and he attends the daycare, too :) We look forward to being part of Nese Kids Care for years to come! If you are looking for care for your little one, I highly recommend touring their facility and seeing it for yourself.
Great staff, convenient location, and they do all sorts of fun activities for the kids, like Trunk or Treat and a pumpkin patch for Halloween. Your little ones will love it!
Our son started at Nese Kids Care when he was just 10 weeks old--the youngest of all my children to ever begin daycare. I was nervous about leaving him so young, but from day one Ms. Jazz and Ms. Diana made both of us feel at ease. They welcomed my baby with such warmth, and they comforted me through my own tears with kindness and reassurance. The constant updates through the daycare's app (complete with tons of pictures--including my infant "doing art") gave me such peace of mind. From the beginning, I was struck by how much the teachers at Nese truly care. They provide such a rich environment, even for the youngest babies. I could visit throughout the day to nurse him and never once felt like I was intruding. Over the months, my son developed genuine, sweet bonds with every teacher--especially Ms. Jazz, Ms. Diana, Ms. Taylor, and Ms. Jessica. But the truth is, ALL the teachers at Nese are incredibly special. When we moved him to another daycare strictly out of location convenience, it quickly became clear what we had lost. On his last day at Nese, the teachers gifted us a homemade photo book full of photo memories and thoughtful, handwritten notes--a gesture that spoke volumes about the depth of their care. Within just one week at the new daycare, my husband and I knew we had made a mistake. While some transition struggles are normal, what we saw was different--our once happy, thriving baby came home withdrawn and exhausted, and with no photos shared in the app or thoughtful update at pick-up, we could only assume it was because he was crying all day. That's when we truly understood how much the thoughtful, above-and-beyond little things at Nese matter--the details you don't always notice until you experience a place without them: - The genuine love and connection the teachers build. - The thoughtful daily recaps. - The way his bag was always organized and ready at pick-up so I could simply scoop him up and focus on him. - The gentle laughter and distraction at drop-off that made separations easy--so easy, in fact, that he would wiggle OUT of my arms to get to his teachers, excited to start his day. After just one week away, I called Ms. Soshia in tears asking if we could come back. That Friday, we brought him for a visit--my baby desperately needed the comfort of familiar faces--and the moment we pulled in, a teacher ran out joyfully calling his name: 'We heard he's coming back!' Our son lit up with giggles and reached for his beloved Ms. Jazz. My heart was overwhelmed knowing just how much he was loved and missed. Thankfully, a space is opening soon, and we cannot wait to be back at Nese Kids Care. Teachers matter. How people care for and love your children matters. Nese Kids Care is clean, secure, well-structured, enriching, and conveniently located in Mission Valley with easy freeway access--but above all, it is filled with teachers who make children feel safe, happy, and truly cared for. We are beyond grateful for them; and will forever recommend Nese Kids Care.
