Love this place. I believe it's $70 an hour and you can get a thoughtful deep tissue massage with Lucas. They heated the room, had an extra soft blanket on a cold day. They use unscented oil and a hot towel to clean our back and legs up. The room has some pretty lighting and calming music, ads a little extra!
We booked three couple massages. Two of the couples arrived on time, but were rushed into the rooms without clear instructions on what to expect, which made the experience confusing, especially for first timers. I was the third couple, I arrived a few minutes late. I called ahead to let them know, and while I understand that being late was our responsibility, the way it was handled was disappointing. The staff’s attitude was rude and unprofessional. Because of this, I chose not to receive my massage, though I still paid in full so my partner could enjoy hers. On top of that, there was visible disappointment from the front desk over a $20 tip. Overall, the massages themselves were average from everyone’s review in the group.
I try to get massages often and New Happy Day Spa on J Street is my first choice. I see all the massage therapists there. They are all amazing! They don’t give robotic massages but they “read” what your body needs. I’ve even had a twisted ankle and they knew exactly what to do. I followed up with my Dr and he was impressed how it was healing. I will continue to get great massages there. 👍🏻

The lighting feels soft, the music gentle, the rooms are spotless. Every therapist cares deeply and it shows in every detail. Treatments feel thoughtful, never rushed. My body feels lighter. My mind calmer. My spirit lifted every single time. The staff greets me like family. Always warm, always professional. I leave glowing, grateful, and eager for the next visit. This place has become a part of my life.
I am floating on air! This was, without a doubt, one of the best massages I've ever had. The therapist was incredibly attentive, focusing perfectly on my problem areas (my shoulders are thanking you!). The pressure was ideal, and I feel a profound sense of relaxation and ease in my body that I haven't felt in years. Thank you for this much-needed reset. I will definitely be back soon
