First off I would like to say this place is clean and they spend a lot of time making sure its spotless. The service had a lot of ups and downs. I am traveling a lot and when I find a barbershop I plan on being there 20-30 min and get a quick trim and clean up and then you’re all set. Been saying the same to barbers across the country and around the world and they all understand that. When I stated that to my barber he asked the manager to come translate and then spent 30 min cutting my hair less than the width of the keys on this keyboard. My hair had barely been cut and he then started bringing the mirror out and then I stopped him saying this is barely anything and then the manager had to come again and translate saying they didn’t know what I was talking about. I wasn’t asking for fades, designs, social media ready I just wanted a regular haircut quick trim and shape to look nice. The 20 min turned into an hour plus of him getting every single blade of hair to perfection. I had enough and just let him finish he then sprayed cologne all over my head rather than on the edges he trimmed and called it that. I believe always paying for the service given and gave him a $15 tip which my price was $32 for everything of what it cost because he spent the time doing his thing. So please don’t say I am not appreciative because I see what management’s attitude in responding to these reviews have been. I looked on booksy for the appointment but didn’t read the reviews here. I then left to the first barbershop driving down the road to my hotel from here explained the situation and they brought me in and only charged me $5 to fix this to what I needed. Will leave the name out of this I made a separate review for them. They put me on a chair and did in less than 15 min what this shop did because they also shampooed and washed off all the alcoholic smelling cologne this guy sprayed all over my head. A trade that has become lost is a barber understanding a simple haircut doesn’t always have to be a “brand” a “style” it could just mean the customer would like a quick in and out and still happily pay for the hard work. This is the first place to not comprehend that with all the potential and vibe they had in the shop. It will be the last I go and if you want simple don’t even bother.
Amazing experience every time! My kids absolutely love coming here. The barber is patient, professional, and knows exactly how to work with kids. Clean shop, great atmosphere, and perfect cuts every visit. Highly recommend for parents looking for a kids-friendly barber!
I used to have trouble finding barbers who knew how to cut my longer curly hair. I met Raul a couple years ago and I’ve only come here since. He takes his time and gets my cut perfect. I’ve gotten cut by a couple other barbers at the shop and they’ve always done great work as well. Great environment and you can tell the owner, Alex, really cares about his customers and his business. Would absolutely recommend them
I visited this barbershop on the 27th and had one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I came in respectful, explained exactly what I wanted, and even showed a picture. The barber acted like he understood, but as the haircut went on, it became clear he didn’t care about giving good service. He started rushing, was rough while cutting my hair, and left hair all over me. His attitude changed the moment I tried to politely clarify what I wanted. Instead of communicating, he got frustrated and even made comments in Spanish about being annoyed—while I was sitting right there. That alone says everything about their professionalism. Then he called over the manager, and they started discussing the situation out loud in front of other customers. That was unnecessary and embarrassing. I wasn’t raising my voice, I wasn’t disrespectful—I was just trying to get the haircut I asked for. When I didn’t want to continue being talked to in front of everyone, the manager also got an attitude. At that point, I decided to leave. No customer should be treated like an inconvenience for simply asking for the service they’re paying for. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone who expects basic respect and professionalism.
I’ve been getting my hair cut by Alex (first chair)for over 10 years, and he’s the only person I trust with my hair. Every time I sit in his chair, I know I’m in good hands — the cut is always perfect. He knows exactly how I like it without me even having to say much. On top of being an incredible barber, he’s just a great guy who takes pride in what he does. I always leave feeling fresh and confident. I would drive 30 minutes just to get a cut from Next cut, now his son cut my sons from the last 8 years. Couldn’t recommend him enough!
