Belconnen store for an alteration, removal of pocket/adding new pocket and hemming the sleeves to be shorter. - the work is incredible, 10/10 it turned out so much better than I thought it would and that on you guys. For anyone reading this and is curious on the range that was fixed here: Front jumper pocket with wear holes big enough for keys/phone to fall out. Had said pocket removed and a new one out on, was advised to buy my own material so that’s a big FYI. Sleeve cuffs extremely worn, fraying elastics and material on end of the sleeves. These were taken back and re-hemming. Looks brand new other than the fact they are shorter but I don’t mind about that… Thank you so much for fixing my jumper, I WILL be back if anything else starts to break!!! Thank you again, these guys have been incredible. Not only for myself and my work jumper, but my SO also had her bride maids dress altered here as well and that needed up being JUST AS GOOD!! I can not recommend these guys enough, can’t say this much about the city store but if their work is just as good as Belconnen then I say the same! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I brought in a dress for alterations that needed quite a bit done to it - hemmed, taken in, shoulders shortened. Plus it was a completely pleated dress! The staff had great attention to detail - they called me to come back and try it on again with one of the tailors present as the staff had discussed different ways of bringing it in, and sought my input before making any changes. I am very happy with the result of the alterations and the services provided. I'll continue bringing my dry cleaning and alterations to these lovely people!
I brought in my favourite coat with a huge matcha latte stain that I couldn’t remove myself. The gentle wash didn’t fully get rid of it, so the staff explained the risks of using a stronger solvant. I agreed, and I’m so glad I did — my coat came back absolutely immaculate! I was so happy with the result. Truly the best customer service, price, and outcome. Highly recommended!
I’ve been using Opal for years and they’ve always done an exceptional job. Most recently, I used their home service for my wedding dress — such a great bonus — and, as always, everything was finished to perfection.
