Paulo Santana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu est une académie BJJ accueillante à Winston-Salem, au 1268 S Stratford Rd. My daughter and I have been training here for about a year now, and we have really enjoyed it! This is a great gym for everyone to develop skills, but I specifically want to praise this gym in how it supports and encourages its female students. Whether you come from a martial arts background or not, if you are a woman looking for a great place to train, this is the place for you!
Paulo and his team offer a friendly and open environment for men, women, and children to train BJJ. It's a great place to become a proficient grappler, to get in shape, and also to make friends.
I have been involved in BJJ/MMA for 20 plus years. This is by far the best academy in the area. My son has learned so much over the last year and has transformed into a different person right before my eyes. He loves Paulo and the kids class is amazing. I also take classes from Paulo and can tell you the skill level is very high at PSBJJ. Every student reflects the positive attitude and respect that the professor is an example of. I am so happy we found PSBJJ.
I did quite a bit of research before choosing Paulo Santana Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and I am so happy that I found Paulo and his BJJ Academy. I had never tried BJJ before in my life and on the first day EVERYONE made me feel like family. I really can't describe it, but if you curious and want to see what BJJ is all about you HAVE GOT try his free trail. Plus my son used to go to Tiger Kim's Tae Kwan Do, I had to drag him there everyday. But he LOVES Paulo's BJJ he always wants to go and bugs me to go more often. I could go on and on...I also lost 10 lbs in 5 weeks...any way, do yourself a favor and try it out! Easily my best decision of 2020 :-). #BLOWAWAY!
