My dog was hospitalised in here for initially 12 hours and then 24 more hours. It was very scary to go through all that but the way they keep in touch with me was heart warming. They sent me the photo of my dog with some updates. Vets, nurses and admin staffs explained everything clearly about procedures and the costs. I was also allowed to see my dog in there. Thank you all so much for looking after Max. I appreciate their hard work.
I was so relieved PVE was open when urgently needed. They are a 24 hour clinic that is open not like some others emergency vets that close unexpectedly without any updates to their website. The vet was thorough and sent updates including a sweet picture while they were working to find out what the cause of my boys seizure was. The picture was just one of the little things they did that helped us get through the hours waiting for tests to come back and some answers. Very happy with the care he received and the follow up.
I cannot recommend PVE Cannington enough! I was super anxious to bring my sick Chief Wiggum to an emergency vet, but all my concerns soon vanished once I met the team and saw the facilities, as a pet owner it is so comforting to know this place exists and I would not hesitate to bring any of my pets back in future. I loved that the waiting room has little outdoor areas available to keep excited dogs in their own little place, the visiting rooms were also beautiful, allowing time for owners and pets to spend time together in a comfortable space. From the receptionist, nurses and vets everyone was so kind (even during 3am phone calls) and the biggest thing is we never felt rushed to make decisions and I was well informed yet always felt in control of his care, every question was answered and every request accommodated, lots of check-ins throughout his stay and follow up aftercare support. Our regular vet was sent through every report and kept up to date too. Our regular vet agreed that PVE Cannington successfully got Chief Wiggum onto the road of recovery using best practice, procedures and a high level of care. We were talked through all financial matters upfront and the insurance claim was handled on our behalf so we could focus on our baby. I could see how happy and safe Chief Wiggum felt at your hospital I know you guys were loving on him by the way he was giving all the love and sloppy kisses right back at you guys! One vet told us he did little nibbles on her arm, which is the greatest honour in our house, he only does that when he is super grateful or bonding with someone he really likes! Sometimes people get overwhelmed by his big boof head energy, but he definitely found people that appreciated him, slobber and all. Thanks for all that you do! Thank you for the staffs and vet for help Maple during emergency, its my first time to go to the Emergency but its pleasant experience as i’m bit nervous with my dog condition. The staffs and vet explain everything in details about my dog condition which make me more calm with the situation. Even after we went back home the nurse still texted asking about my dog recovery and giving advice to help Maple recovery. Thank you so much for all the effort and concern that this emergency vet did to help my dog recovery 😊😊 My dog finally back to happy face again 😊
My dog Archie had a severe allergic reaction, I rang panicking and they told me to bring him in right away. Within seconds of arriving they took him in to treat him and kept me updated. Every staff member was lovely and reassuring and we were sent home with post care instructions and they even text us a few days later to check in. Very grateful for their help! A very happy pup a few days later
