Pizza Luce was highly recommended. I would say overall, it was okay. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was good, but a little on the salty side. We ordered the Classic Pizza and it was good. Loved the crust. Our server was just meh. I asked for recommendations on a local beer and he asked which ones on the menu I wanted. He couldn’t give a good recommendation. He was also slow. We had to track him down to get our check and again to pay. He only had 2 tables of people to serve.
We ordered for the office today. I had the Ultimate Veggie vegan hoagie. Whomever made it needs to be checked. Toppings extremely sparse. Insanely huge pepper stem that could not have been missed when they made the sandwich.🤬 You knew full well that you were being funny when you made it! Just plain lazy. Not cool when the hoagie was already skinny, so it made for a VERY hard bite. Nowhere near the photo. Not that it had to be, but sheesh! At least put forth effort when you are making food for someone else when this is the job you chose. No, it was NOT busy. We placed the order right at 11:00 and it was delivered at 11:30 am, so do not say "workload." Dead wrong. Period. Plus, a colleague found onions on what was supposed to be just a cheese and pepperoni pizza. Someone clearly did not want to work today. Well, you should have stayed HOME. Definitely did not deserve the tip I know was paid. Pictures have been included.
Loved the Moscow Mule made with Du Nord Foundation Vodka - it was bright and refreshing, the perfect sidekick to a classic cheese pizza. Our bartender, Alex, nailed it—friendly, fast, and made sure we had everything we needed. And to top it all off? The Espresso Martini made with Du Nord’s Café Frieda Coffee Liqueur, finished with a touch of chocolate—the perfect dessert drink! Cheers to Pizza Lucé for showing love to Du Nord Social Spirits! What a great place to spend time eating delicious pizza. The atmosphere is fantastic and welcoming. Our server was so kind and helpful. She said she’s been there for 12 years because it’s such a good place to work. I was visiting from out of town, first time to Minneapolis. This place came recommended by the hotel staff and I am so grateful.
We did pickup here and glad we did. My wife has Celiac and it was really difficult to find her safe food that was also any good. The gluten free pizza was great, considering. They also kept the box separate from everything else to protect against cross contamination. I got two cheese slices and they were decent but not great. But it was worth it for my wife to have what she needed.
