It’s my second time at this amazing hair salon, and I’m absolutely happy and satisfied with the service. My hairstylist is wonderful and very professional. My hair looks beautiful, soft, and shiny again. Thank you, Arline! 😊
I HATE to be posting this. Because i love coming here. But gosh they messed up i told the sweet girl at the front desk i didn’t want to leave a bad review but upon looking at my hair further i have no choice. i went to the biltmore primp and blow this morning. I told the front desk I didn’t want to leave a bad review but as I look further at my hair I can’t help but be upset. I understand apparently i chose a new stylist, but i didn’t think that would mean she was completely incompetent for lack of better word. Yes my hair was comped today , the lady at front desk was SO sweet. But my stylist seemed like she was checked out. Her hands smelled terribly of feces and I’m not trying to be rude but i legitimately had to hold my breath the entire service. My hair has SO MUCH product in it i have to rewash. I’ve never experienced service like this before. It doesn’t even resemble a blow out. I was wearing a hoodie and it’s SOAKING wet. She spent like ten minutes trying to blow dry it. She could’ve asked me to remove it if she saw it getting wet. Such a bad experience
Ariella is absolutely amazing! I see her twice a week for my blowouts — Tuesdays and Fridays at 7 AM — and she keeps my high-maintenance blonde extensions looking perfect. Every Tuesday she gives me that sleek, professional Ariana-style ponytail, and on Fridays a soft, lasting weekend blowout. She also gives the best scalp massage, which wakes me up and gets me ready for the day! The salon is spotless, the staff is kind and professional, and Ariella runs everything with such calm, confident energy. The membership pricing is great value — even with hot-iron styling — and she always uses the right products to protect my hair. My husband always notices when she does my hair (never when I do it myself 😂). It’s my favorite morning ritual — clean space, friendly team, and yes, I always grab a biscotti after! Highly recommend Ariella if you want a stylist who’s talented, personable, and truly cares about her clients.
I hadn’t had a professional hairstyle done since high school, so I booked a dry style for a friend’s wedding. I even called ahead to confirm I had scheduled the right service. When I arrived, I was told my appointment type had been changed—but unfortunately, that update wasn’t communicated to my stylist. It left me feeling a bit like the mix-up was my fault, even though it seemed to be a communication issue on their end. That said, my stylist did a beautiful job with my updo, and I left very happy overall. I tipped extra to make up for the confusion and will know exactly what to book next time.
This was my first time and my last. I made this appointment on the recommendation of my niece, who goes there somewhat regularly. I had a shoot right afterwards for some social media, so I really wanted my hair and makeup to look great. I booked my 90 min appointment w/a 15 min "cushion", but it actually went 45 mins longer, making me 30 mins late for my shoot. I wish I could say who my "person" was, but she never even introduced herself. I expressed that I wanted volume, and that I need products bcs my hair tends to go flat after a while (I also showed her a picture of what my hair usually looks like when it's done), and while she was "styling" my hair, I noticed the book of styles (which she never showed to me) and pointed out several styles that I liked. She then put 3 big velcro rollers on top and then literally hung 6 or 7 roller brushes around my head. What?? I've never, ever had that as a "styling" technique before, and guess what - there's a reason for that. It's because it isn't one. Then she more or less just took everything out and stood there like "ta da!". Ummmm.....no. I said "you aren't done, are you??" She said she was. Uh - no. This isn't volume - it's not even a style. It was horrible. It looked like a 7 yr old did it. She sort of tried (and charged me extra for a "hot tool", otherwise known as a curling iron), and it was still awful. She then got another stylist to step in who, tried, and it was better, but it was still nowhere near what I expected. She went on to do my makeup, which was actually better than I expected after the hair - I'm not unhappy about the makeup, and that's the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The hair, though - awful. There were huge "spaces" and separations, and no volume! She should seriously stick to makeup only. I will never go back - my shoot was ruined because of this.
