I got the 10 person pistachio cake, it tasted nothing like pistachio. It was so sweet that everyone said it was too sweet. There's no flavor, just taste like pure sugar. Very disappointing.
I have bought Afroditi cakes for years. But the last few times we have bought a cake i noticed the sponge is so dry inside. The chocolate ganache is good but if the sponge is dry it just ruins the cake. For the price you pay I am getting disappointed with their cakes.
This pastry and bakery shop offers a chic ambiance while reflecting its Greek heritage. Upon entering, customers are greeted by the aroma of freshly baked goods and a well-organized space stocked with a wide selection of Greek specialties. The atmosphere is inviting and has a homelike charm. There may be a short wait during busy hours, but staff members provide friendly and attentive service☺️. Maria and Artemis definitely know how to leave a good first impression❤️. Maria was very helpful and patient, she guided me through the variety of pastries available. The ones I chose were well balanced in flavor with a reasonable dose of sugar! Their strawberry shortcake and cheesecake are a must try, trust me! They were both exceptionally delicious🥰. Overall, it is a gem worth to stop by and try their many dessert options.
These are honestly some of the best macarons I’ve ever had! We also love their little desserts—whether individual or family-sized, everything is delicious. It’s not rare to see a mother or father with their child enjoying a treat here, and you can eat on-site if you can’t wait to indulge. They sometimes offer leftover bread at half price too, which is such a lovely bonus. I truly love this spot.
One of the most delicious ice cream cake that I ever had. Also, there are many varieties of pastry that I should try each time I visit Montreal. Nice and welcoming staff. I really recommend it for sweet tooth people
