Our apartment's furnace unexpectedly had to be shut off after a routine inspection on a Friday afternoon revealed it had to be completely replaced. Bret & Charlie from Residential were not only able to come out to replace it with a brand new model first thing the following morning, but they also explained their process when they got to our place, were extremely polite throughout, and left us with a working furnace after only a few hours of work. Y'all are great!!
Thomas from Residential heating came out to do a furnace tune up. Everything turned out just fine. He did let me know of some other potential issues and I thought right away that oh here we go, but instead Thomas walked me through exactly what he was talking about and the issues that would probably come in the future. He gave several options and did so with a non sales pitch. He really was looking out for me in the near future. We did go with a few of the options that he talked about but not all of them and he was great. Got all the things done the same day. Really appreciated him looking out for us. Thanks Thomas. I don’t like to review but will for them. Briefly: - emergency, furnace went out with an infant and toddler at home - 3 other companies couldn’t help for 6-8 hrs (including Standard heating who literally didn’t seem to care despite me being a priority member with them - will review them too) - Residential heating showed instant concern and priority, got someone over within 1.5 hrs - super friendly, knowledgeable and caring worker. Jeremiah. - Fixed the broken problem without upcharging or trying to replace the whole furnace - gave important insight for me to improve things at no cost - will be switching to them indefinitely
When my furnace had issues early on a very cold morning, I called Residential Heating & Air Conditioning and was lucky to have Hudson at the answering service pick up. He assured me that he would get me on the list to be seen as soon as possible. At about 7 that same morning Hudson called me back to tell me that a technician had been assigned and that I would be his first appointment of the day. I really appreciated Hudson’s calm and caring support that cold morning. Thomas was the technician assigned to me. He did a thorough system check and told me that the furnace could be fixed but that it might not last long and explained why. He patiently answered all of my questions as I tried to decide what to do, never making me feel rushed. When I made the decision to replace the furnace, Thomas spent additional time with me to talk about options and came up with estimates that would suit my needs. After the decision was made, Thomas coordinated the installation, and after that he came back to make sure everything was installed correctly and answered even more questions. When the new furnace humidifier wasn’t working correctly, Thomas prioritized my call so that it could be fixed right away. Working with Thomas was a great experience. He was patient, thorough, friendly, competent, and I felt that he really cared about me. I am grateful that Thomas was the technician to troubleshoot, sell and oversee my furnace installation. George and the installation crew spent many hours that cold day of installation to get the new furnace up and running. They did a great job and worked hard to make sure the furnace was installed by the end of that long working day. I was fortunate to have George and his hard-working team on the job that day. Topher fielded my calls during office hours and answered questions, rescheduled appointments, and provided moral support. He was friendly and efficient. Deann answered billing questions and filed for the rebates that were available for the system. I appreciate her help. I highly recommend that you contact the Residential Heating and Air team if you are looking to fix or replace your furnace. You will be in good hands.
Residential Heating and Air Conditioning replaced my 70 year old boiler and did a great job. They offered a good price and stuck to that price. Dave H was knowledgeable, had a mellow personality, and wasn't high pressure -- all which made him great to work with. On the day of the job the installers and removers and electrical seamlessly coordinated to get the job done in one day. I will definitely use them again for other projects and for general maintenance of my new boiler
