I can’t say enough kind things about Roadrunner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital. My dachshund, Slinky, passed away while we were in Albuquerque visiting family over the holidays. It was a Saturday, and this was the only clinic available that could help with cremation services. During one of the hardest moments of my life, the staff was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate. They took the time to explain everything clearly, never rushed me, and were very affordable during an already emotional and stressful time. What truly meant the most to me was receiving a handwritten condolence card sent all the way to my home in Denver. I have never experienced that level of thoughtfulness from a veterinary clinic before. I cried when I received it, and it reminded me that I made the right choice bringing Slinky here. I am so grateful for the care and compassion you showed both me and my sweet boy. Thank you for treating us with such kindness. I will absolutely recommend Roadrunner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital to my family and friends. From the bottom of my heart — thank you.
On Christmas Eve I brought my newly adopted dog Sadie in for spay complications, and I must say from the front desk to the techs everyone was absolutely wonderful. Doctor Rouse was incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and kind throughout the initial exam and emergency surgery. Even when complications arose Doctor Rouse and the Roadrunner team were on top of Sadie’s care. I appreciated the calls to let me know what was going on, even if it was to just say “Sadie is doing well and our team loves her” as well as, the ability to come see Sadie during her stay. If your pet is experiencing an emergency I would highly recommend this facility. We are so glad they were able to save our girl!
I can not give enough stars ⭐️ for this emergency department we took our BB Rogue in here because she’s been very sick and couldn’t figure out what was wrong spent few hours here they walked us through the entire process, told us if be a little longer wait was very attentive and very nice. The entire staff was amazing. Dr Ray found out our baby has Addisons Disease, and they have hospitalized her and are going to maintain and treat her over the next day or two and she will live a normal, happy healthy life. Very thankful and grateful to have an amazing veterinarian clinic here in Albuquerque. Thank you all from bottom of my heart for saving our baby.
Putting your animal down, is…never something you want to do. It sucks. It hurts. The doctor was upfront with us, gave us every option. The staff was very compassionate and helped make this hurt, not less, but less than it could’ve been. Thank you guys for helping us say goodbye to our baby sage.
Took my baby boy Roast in for what I believed to be an intestinal blockage, turns out he had parvo. No doubt without the quick, intensive care provided by all of the Roadrunner staff Roast would have died within hours. After 2.5 days of round the clock treatments my baby is now safely back home. The dedicated & educated staff deserve 100 stars!!!
