Robby and Gabriel are cool and friendly, the place is great for music, the food is amazing for the affordable price. Can't recommend enough. Try the lamb and cheesy grits, the fried pita and hummus, the veggie sides, bread pudding, everything. Delicious.
Came here on a last minute decision to dine out for Sunday night dinner, and I’m glad we did. Had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owners. Gabriel treated us like we were guests in their home. Really loved how welcoming and friendly he is. And the food that Chef Robby made? Absolutely scrumptious! My partner and I shared the Caesar salad to start. Really delicious! Light and fresh. And the dressing was very well balanced. One of the tastiest Caesar salad I’ve had so far. I had the Baby Back Ribs for my main, and it was a 10/10 decision. It was absolute perfection! The meat was so tender it practically fell off the bones. Each bite was a celebration of flavors. I cleaned up my plate! We did feel a bit weirded out by the gentleman who was sitting at the bar who approached us and asked if he could sit with us. We’re from NYC so it wasn’t a new bizarre interaction for us. But Gabriel expeditiously took care of the situation. Aside from that, very excited to come back here!
Phenomenal. Incredible. Amazing. Scrumptious. Just 4 paltry words to describe the food at this restaurant! Only stumbled into this restaurant because it was close to an AT&T store I needed to go to. However, this restaurant will definitely be worth the drive to come back. Often. Wish I would have taken photos but the artichoke dip was perfection, the Caesar salad dressing had just the right amount of garlic, and the veggie burger was inspired. Cannot wait to go back. Update: I’ve come back repeatedly, trying different dishes each time, and my original review stills stands. I always forget to take photos of the dishes but remembered tonight. The photos do not do the food justice at all!
I don’t usually write reviews. But anyways I sat down and met the kind owners I knew I was in good hands. Delicious food, fall off baby back ribs, 10/10. They didn’t have mashed potatoes so I asked the chef to surprise me with a side. He made the most delicious roasted potatoes I have ever had. A slight crisp to them with a soft inside. If you are looking for a good dinner with fine dining and a great time, come to Robby’s. You won’t regret it!
2/23/2025 - Robby's restaurant is situated inside the West Hollywood Gateway at La Brea Ave. and Santa Monica Blvd., at the heart of West Hollywood. The Chef Robby, a former Executive Chef at the culinary division of Ironstone Vineyard, personally cooks at a brand new kitchen daily with his passion for his culinary hobby. We had a great time last night at this new American restaurant by tasting some dishes with high quality ingredients and meats like Lamb Chops that cooked perfectly with tenderness with a great presentation - No kidding, its presentation and taste are better than the one cooked at a special dining restaurant at my recent mega cruise ship. The desert Cannoli is perfect like a fine dining item. The crust is crispy, and the sweet cheese is creamy, adding a little bit of dark chocolate dip might enhance your taste. Seeing is believing.
