What an amazing experience! First of all, Darlene is such a beautiful soul - she made it so cozy and comfortable for us both to relax and feel at home within the space. We did the circuit with the sauna, steam room, then salt cave. And wow…. The salt cave is truly a unique experience. It felt so relaxing. Salt is known for its alchemical properties, which means that it balances our electrolytes and fluids - this is especially good for people who have any anxiety or mental health imbalances. Fight or flight mode can put our bodies in such an imbalanced state. This salt cave really helps relax and regulate the nervous system. What a truly fantastic experience!
I called and had many questions prior to our visit … never have been to any type of spa before!! I had the pleasure of speaking with and meeting Darlene … she’s absolutely incredible .. so thoughtful, made sure we had everything we needed and that we were always comfortable. We did the Circuit 1 and it was absolutely amazing. Took a friend for her 50th birthday and she loved it as well. We will definitely visit again. Thank you Darlene for a wonderful visit and experience 🥰
We decided to visit after seeing all the amazing reviews, and wow — our experience went far beyond any expectations we had! Darlene truly did an exceptional job creating a spa experience that’s not only beautiful and relaxing, but also incredibly rejuvenating for the body and mind. The session begins in the Salt-Infused Sauna, where the temperature is perfectly set and the air feels clean and refreshing. It’s the perfect way to open up your pores and start the detox process. Next is the Steam Room, which was my absolute favorite! You get to choose your own essential oils, and the steam combined with those scents is just heavenly. It’s the perfect mix of sweating out toxins while deeply breathing in the therapeutic aromas — your lungs and skin will thank you! The final stop is the Salt Cave, which was my fiancé’s favorite part. You can completely unwind while listening to the soothing waterfall and calming music — the atmosphere is pure serenity. From start to finish, the entire experience is a solid 10/10. We left feeling like a million bucks! Huge thanks to Darlene for her warmth, professionalism, and care — she truly made the experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to come back!
Wow! I had the most amazing experience at salt secret! I went for my birthday and I enjoyed every bit of it! It was so nice and clean. The atmosphere is very welcoming and you feel very comfortable during your spa experience! I got to experience circuit 1 with my mom and sister and we had a phenomenal time!! We did not want to leave ! The salt cave at the end was AMAZING! Had the best nap in there lol. Darlene was amazing!! Her energy and customer service is exquisite! She is so kind and friendly, Darlene makes you feel like you are home and ensures you have a beautiful time. She walked us through our circuit, and gave us water and tea . They had a raspberry tea the day we went, it was so yummy. All in all I had an amazing time and I am so happy I was able to celebrate my birthday at the salt cave! It was worth the hour drive for me! I will recommend this to others! And plan on coming back again!
Pure exhale from start to finish. Salt Secret Waterloo is beautiful - marble-bright lobby, calm music, and that warm amber glow throughout. I did the salt cave, cedar sauna, and aromatic steam room, and each space felt spotless and thoughtfully set up (fresh towels, cozy blankets, tea and water nearby, lockers for your things). The salt cave’s twinkle lights are dreamy; the sauna heat is steady and clean; the steam room feels like a gentle hug. I floated out relaxed, skin happy, and mind quiet. Special shout-out to Darlene - the sweetest! She welcomed me with a smile, walked me through each room, and checked in just enough without ever rushing me. Her warmth really sets the tone. Perfect for a solo reset, a quiet date night, or a bestie spa afternoon. Pro tip: arrive a little early and plan extra time to lounge - you’ll want to linger. I’m already coming back to try their relaxation massage next.
