Had an overall good experience with Moving Help Columbus Ohio on two separate occasions. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing help moving items—especially on short notice. The scenario: A loved one took a fall on Christmas Eve, and we needed to quickly rearrange their home to make it safer for recovery, including converting a first-floor room into a bedroom. The good: I reached out early the morning after Christmas and spoke directly with the owner, Bruce. He was able to schedule movers later that same day. When the crew arrived, they worked quickly and efficiently to clear space and move several large items, including a bed, between floors. Two days later, after additional rearranging, we needed help again with heavier items. Bruce remembered us, offered the same crew if we could shift the appointment slightly later, and provided a truck to haul a few items away. That move also went smoothly. Across both visits, the team was professional, hardworking, and efficient. We stayed within the allotted time each day. Nothing was broken, and there was no damage to the house. The base price listed on the website is exactly what we paid on day one—no surprise fees and no same-day booking upcharge. The understandable (but worth noting): Both days were same-day bookings immediately following a major holiday, and arrival times were later than scheduled. Communication on the first day could have been better. That said, the team did show up and completed the work as promised, which mattered most given the circumstances. The website also mentions a senior discount. While the move was for a senior, this discount wasn’t proactively offered. A small discount was applied on the second day. This didn’t impact our overall satisfaction, but clarity around this would be helpful. I did not bring this up beyond mentioning that it was for a senior. Bottom line – why five stars: Given the extremely short notice, holiday timing, and urgency of the situation, the professionalism, skill, and reliability of the crew outweighed the frustrations. We’re grateful there are people willing to help during the holidays when they’d much rather be with family. Thank you to the entire team—we truly appreciate you. You’ll be our first call going forward.
These guys were lifesavers! While moving ourselves from out of state in a U-Haul, we decided to hire some help at our destination in Columbus. The two of them took only an hour to unload all of our furniture and boxes (you need to hire them for a minimum of two hours though I believe) at a very reasonable price considering how much help they were! It would have taken my husband and I hours to do it ourselves, especially since there were stairs involved! It was the best decision we made during a long and exhausting move.
Easy to work with! We had to reschedule multiple times, and they were incredibly flexible and accommodating each time. On the day of the move, they arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently. They moved everything with care, and the team was very nice and professional. Highly recommend!

I want to give a special shoutout to Chris, who was an absolute workhorse — incredibly hardworking, focused, and respectful the entire time. He didn’t stop moving and handled everything with care. Great experience!! Moved everything in my pod and even helped bring a package from the mail room! They had a busy schedule that day and kept me updated all day cause other jobs can add time if needed, they still came at the right time and everything even though we were the last job of the day! Definitely would recommend!!! The owner was very responsive and very helpful! And the movers that came were very respectful, answered any questions, joked with us and made moving up to the 3rd floor a way better experience than it normally would have been, and I think that’s hard to find in people now a days, let alone when someone is trying to work. Thank you Bruce, Chris & crew!!! Will definitely be calling them if we ever move again!!
