After a bad experience elsewhere, I decided to use Jack at Savills to let out my apartments, and the experience has been absolutely fantastic. The entire process was made incredibly easy, yet handled with real accuracy and attention to detail. I’m so pleased I made the change and only wish I’d done it much sooner. Jack has gone above and beyond throughout I’ve spoken to him out of hours and at weekends, and he is always welcoming, helpful, and more than happy to answer my long list of questions. I’ve recently moved into my new rental property with the help from Connor and Jack, and I can honestly say they’ve been incredible from start to finish. They were professional, friendly, and always quick to respond to any questions I had throughout the process. Moving can be stressful, but they made everything feel smooth and straightforward. Couldn’t recommend them or the agency highly enough!
I spent a morning walking around Clifton entering all the lettings agents and asking about their properties to rent that suited my needs. Of every single one, Savill's was the only one that did not sit down with me and look at properties together. Instead, they took my details - with the air of someone getting an unpleasant chore out of the way - and said they would get back to me. They did not. When I followed up with emails specifying specific properties I would like to view, they did not get back to me either. Days later, I have happily signed a contract with a local, attentive, independent agency. As a renter, I expect to be treated poorly by lettings agencies. Perhas I shouldn't be surprised that it was Saville's that treated me worst of all. But if you are a landlord looking for a prospective lettings agent, perhaps you might wish to consider how indifferent they seem to be to tenants that are trying their absolute best to rent your properties.
Savills have supported the letting of my flat in central Bristol for many years and have always proven themselves to be utmost professionals in every aspect of property management. Over this period Jane Simpson-Browne in particular has consistently been extremely diligent, pragmatic and pleasant to deal with, despite the obvious demands of a busy office.
