We had Sila perform a routine heating system tune-up and everything went great! Carlos was very efficient and thorough. He explained everything very clearly, walking through all of the steps of his inspection, including photos. We would definitely use Sila again for HVAC maintenance.
Sila’s own employee told me that they are expensive in the area. However, they offered an 18 month zero percent payment option. Since this occurred during the government shutdown that was a huge selling factor to me. However, they charged my credit card for the full amount without permission or even notifying me. Once I reached out they provided the paperwork for the payment plan/loan. I was approved and sent everything back to them. Since then, OCTOBER!!, it’s been radio silence. I have emailed multiple times to multiple different email addresses and I’ve heard nothing. Finally after getting management on the phone today they apologized, said they didn’t know how this happened, and would work on fixing it. Be very cautious of using this company for any of their financing ‘perks’.
It was easy to get an appointment. Technician arrived within given time frame. He had been here before and was familiar with my boilers. He repaired a wire. He was pleasant and professional. Finished job in a timely manner.
Been using Sila for years and they continue to deliver quality service day in and day out. Carlos is one of the nicest most helpful technicians as well. A pleasure to work with. Will continue to recommend Sila to all those looking for HVAC services
I contracted with Sila in July, 2024, to install a new, top-of-the-line high-velocity heat pump in my home. The salesman said it would be a "night-and-day" difference with the prior system, and the cost matched: tens of thousands of dollars. From installation to August, 2025 (13 months) the system did not function well, even as well as the prior system they replaced. Service technicians were excellent, but the company dragged their feet, claimed the problem was our "expectations", and simply forgot to follow up on what turned out to be multiple warranty repairs. We therefore had no adequate heat or air for over a year. I documented the failures meticulously and repeatedly requested that Sila compensate for the time lost without adequate service as well as the enormous amount of time I had to spend pushing them to complete the contracted service. Numerous times they have said they would find a way to resolve this, only to simply fail to follow up at all. It's too bad because the service guys are outstanding, but I have no faith that the company is honest.
