I’m writing this review on behalf of my best friend, who had a very disappointing experience here with Kelsey. She arrived for her scheduled appointment, but the stylist decided to take another client ahead of her, which immediately set the tone for the visit. Despite the delay, the stylist then rushed through my best friend’s service. There was no clear communication about pricing at any point, and she was charged significantly more than expected far above the usual cost for the same service previously. Because everything felt rushed, her bangs ended up uneven and the overall result didn’t reflect the time or care she should have received. It’s understandable that schedules can get busy, but proper communication and respecting appointment times are basic expectations. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in both service quality and professionalism. We will NOT be returning.
This is a great concept: having multiple stylists in one place but each has their own private space. Have been dealing with Tina Howell, space #23--Cuts Color for over 20 years. She's wonderful.
I got my hair done with Kelsey from The Color Loft at this salon. I had the worst experience and I am really disappointed in her. I will never be a returning customer. I paid $180 for a balayage to dye my hair so that I would have light pink tips, and I showed her a photo of what I wanted done. Not only did she get the color wrong (it turned out more orange/pink than light pink), but I told her I still liked it and I was very excited to show off my new pink hair. Kelsey told me it would last 6-12 weeks. I followed all of her care instructions. Within 3 days, the pink was completely gone from my hair. I was left with blonde tips. I texted her with my concerns, I sent her a photo, and I was incredibly kind about everything- only to never get a response back from her. So I called the salon directly and talked to the manager. The manager called me back and said she had talked with Kelsey and that Kelsey would call me back. After waiting and waiting, no call came. She also did not respond to any texts from today either. I am absolutely furious that she has scammed me out of $180. I paid a fortune to essentially just get a trim because we all know the dye she used didn’t last for more than 3 days- so what was I paying for??? I have used Kelsey as my hairdresser for the past year and it’s safe to say I will NEVER be returning here. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with my hair and I wouldn’t recommend Kelsey to anyone.
Tina Howell owner of Cuts Color has been not only my hairdresser for 14plus years but she is my friend. Her professional ethics, talent, and ability as a hairstyle is above reproach. The ease of knowing that every hair need I have had and will have will keep her as my Hairstylist.
Je vois Laverne Bryant à cet endroit... son studio numéro 31. Elle est excellente. Toutes les esthéticiennes ont de jolies petites boutiques dans cet établissement et peuvent y ajouter leur style personnel à chaque endroit. Elles ont toujours le sourire pour vous lorsque vous passez devant. Cet établissement est propre et il y a plein de boutiques autour pour aller manger après avoir fini de vous faire une coiffure toute mignonne!😊👍
