Recently got my eternity ring here for our 20th wedding anniversary and could not be happier. The service was very personalised, my existing rings resized and minor repairs and the new ring made to match my existing set perfectly. Highly recommend anyone looking for special pieces of jewellery to see thes guys as they will not disappoint.
We originally purchased our wedding rings, along with my engagement and eternity rings, from Solid Gold around 25 years ago. All pieces were custom‑made. Solid Gold created the engagement ring design based on the specifications and drawing they produced from our discussions. Despite this, the ring was still made incorrectly. It was eventually fixed, but it was disappointing that it didn’t match their own design in the first place. Fast forward 25 years, we returned to have the claws and diamonds checked, as we had done previously. We were told the claws needed to be redone and that one of the diamonds was cracked. The quote to repair everything was extremely high, so we decided to wait. We then sought a second opinion from another jeweller. Not only was the quote far more reasonable, but we were also told there was no cracked diamond at all. He mentioned that some places use claims like that as a sales tactic. This experience was a reminder: don’t take everything at face value. Always get a second opinion, especially when the recommended repairs come with a hefty price tag. We will not be taking our business there again.
From the moment I arrived at the top of the escalator, I was greeted with a warm welcome and smile. Professional customer service appears to be their mantra and it was an absolute delight to ask them to engrave a wedding band. Within an hour the band was ready to collect. Thank you so much for amazing customer service. Very happy.
My partner and I went to Solid Gold Diamonds and we thought we knew what we wanted and then didn't. Mariesa was amazing. She guided us throughout the process, suggested ideas etc and it worked out for the best. We both adore and love love the ring. My partner loves the ring even more I do. To say that we can't thank Mariesa enough. She is genuine, friendly and knowledgeable.
I recently went into Solid Gold to get my Mother’s old engagement and wedding ring redesigned. They absolutely excelled at doing so, I am in absolute awe of my ring and it now holds such special sentimental value to me. Mariesa was absolutely lovely, had such a vision for the ring and it came out better than I could have imagined. Great service, fast turn around and good pricing. Highly recommend, 10/10.
