I’ve had my haircuts and coloring every 4-5 months done by David Y. for many years. He is consistently excellent. He’s calm, takes the time to listen, and can offer suggestions. I have tried to find another hairstylist in the EastBay in the past so I don’t have to get off work early, and drive over to SF, but still no one comes close to David’s work. I’m sticking with David. I like how the color turns out, so natural with shine, that my friends were utterly surprised that I’ve been coloring for years! ☺️ The Lane Salon is also very nice. Clean, bright, white, and I always manage to find parking if not in front, at a side street close by.
My long time stylist left the country and I panicked. My hair is fine, thin and straight - a tough case. I was so fortunate to find Frank. He is a master. His cut magically gives my hair fullness and movement. And not just for 2 weeks. It looks great up till the next appointment. The shop is stylish, clean and well run. I’ve never been made to wait. He is always on schedule. A+. Highly recommended!!
Ali at The Lane Salon was incredible. I came in with overgrown hair and requested layers with face framing. His precise haircut was amazing to see and his ability to hold quality conversation made it the perfect experience. The blow dry style completed the look and lasted several days. Highly recommend this salon as it was an overall great environment.
The salon has many talented Practitioners of every type. I have been getting my haircut with Ali close to 30 years and Rebecca is doing my color and it looks totally natural. The ambience is lovely and the cooperation and collaboration of the staff is exemplary
