If you’re thinking of having vintage furniture restored look no further, this is the place. I brought in a tattered velvet chair my cat destroyed that was very sentimental to me because it was essentially my dogs bed before he passed. It looks so good I couldn’t be more happy with the results. The cost was very fair for the work that was done and the process was easy. They were very patient with me while I looked at all the green velvety fabrics they could possible have and I absolutely will be back for my tattoo furniture when it needs new vinyl. An internet search for upholstery fabric for a small project, brought us to Threadz Nola today. Only upon arrival did I realize it was an upholstery business and not a fabric store. Andreina welcomed us in anyway and, not only helped us choose a fabric, she sat down at a machine and sewed cording for us as well. She was lovely and personable, and her work was top notch. Customer service can make or break even the best business and Threadz Nola is going above and beyond. Such a pleasure doing business with genuinely kind people who obviously love what they are doing! Thredz was recommended to me through another upholstery place in New Orleans and I was looking for a Westbank location closer to home and I'm so glad to have found them!!! I dropped off a bench to be recovered and a week later it was finished to perfection!!! Andreina was super helpful she took some time to go over fabric swatches with us because I will definitely be working with her again to have some custom cushions made. Adreina and Jacqueline did a great job making new cushions for my chairs, creatively salvaging the same fabric to change the style. They worked with me and tweaked the everything until it was perfect!
