Great selection, however help is nowhere to be found or they are not willing to help. I've tried to buy a box of cigars that was placed on a top shelf and it was locked, so I had to run around the store asking employees to unlock that shelf for me. 2 of them pretty much ignored me and eventually this lady showed up to unlock it. I was just not allowed to touch the box untill I paid for it, which was a little weird but whatever. I will be coming back since selection is great, just the whole experience with their staff was not pleasant.
Total Wine at the St Johns Town Center in Jacksonville is hands down the best place in Jax for wine beer and spirits. The selection is massive and actually organized so you can find exactly what you want without wandering forever. Whether you need a solid everyday bottle, a high end bourbon, craft beer, tequila, or something last minute for a dinner or game day, this place always delivers. Staff is knowledgeable without being pushy and usually knows their stuff when you ask for recommendations. Prices are competitive and the rewards program actually adds up. Clean store, easy parking, and perfect stop when you are already at Town Center. If you drink alcohol in Jacksonville, this is the spot.
Great staff and a great selection. The staff at this store are great and very knowledgeable. Many of them have been here for a number of years which highlights a great working culture here. The selection is as always at Total Wine great with depth and breadth across the board. As an Irish whiskey lover I really like their selection in particular the offerings from the great folks at Two Stacks. Sláinte
Some people may not know, but Total Wine offer classes. So, I signed up for a Total Wine class thinking, cool…$10 for some sips and chips. Most of their classes are $20+, so this felt like this was about to be some Bull… I was so wrong. The class was called Date to Compare Spirits vs. THC-Infused Cocktails (non-dosed). We had 5 alcohol cocktails vs. 5 Cannabis -infused Delta-9 THC cocktails non-alcohol. We tried the same drinks…boozy vs. buzz-y….side by side. The Pamos brand was that girl. It’s supposed to give you a calm balanced high, but umm yeah, I was drinking both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, so I couldn’t tell, but I liked it. It’s vegan, gluten-free, made with real flavors, and somehow didn’t taste like sadness. It was really delicious. Honestly…it was one of the best classes I’ve taken at Total Wine. We had cocktails, food, education, gifts, and the host were hilarious and very informative and all for $10. I can’t wait to attend another class. I did purchase the Pamos and a bottle of Buddi.
Love it here! Such wide range of options. Ended up getting Josh wine. Good customer service , prices.
