I have been a loyal patron here since I was five years old, and I fully intend to continue visiting for as long as I find myself in San Francisco. What truly made our latest visit so wonderful were the people. From Dennis, who guided our chocolate selection with his signature warmth and genuinely comedic charm, to Geraldo, who took the time during checkout to make a real, personal connection. Both gentlemen made our experience absolutely perfect. (I truly hope I got their names right!) If the owner is reading this, please know that these two gentlemen, Dennis and Geraldo specifically, were the absolute highlight of our evening. Please extend our deepest thanks and appreciation; we thoroughly enjoyed our time and look forward to our next visit!
I bought a lot of chocolates as gifts there and I couldn’t resist to one. So delicious and well made, I should definitely try! The staff is also so nice, thank you for the great service :)
This is such a cool shop! Traditional and eclectic collections of chocolates. Confection case with hand-crafted chocolates including expected delights such as truffles and unexpected delectables like chocolate-dipped Twinkies. From giftable ribboned trollies to frozen dipped bananas—expect a treat for the eyes as well as the palate!
The selection of chocolates here is excellent – I particularly enjoyed the brandy and cherry one I bought. However, the customer service needs significant improvement. Some staff members used overly casual language ("タメ口"), which is unprofessional and inappropriate when speaking to customers. Customers are not friends and should be addressed with respect and formality. Proper sales training is essential for the staff.
Danger, this place will make you decide to give them all your money. The smells, the smells! I wanted to buy the whole store! Delicious chocolates. And a very elegant establishment.
