Im not a turquoise aficionado. I accompanied a co worker who has shopped albuquerque far and wide. By the time i left i had an education I never expected. If i was going to buy turquoise, I would definitely start here.
My daughter and I planned a trip to New Mexico to shop for Native American turquoise jewelry. Turquoise World was on our list of shops to visit. Their selection was incredible, and the lady who helped us, Dee, was phenomenal. She even stayed past closing to allow us time to fully examine their jewelry and helped us to make our final selections. We plan to shop there again when we return to Albuquerque in a few months. Highly recommend especially if you want to know the type of turquoise you're looking at or have other questions about their jewelry. Dee is very knowledgeable in that respect.

Turquoise World is hands-down the best place in Albuquerque for Native American jewelry. Their selection is massive, with stunning pieces from local artisans that truly showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of the Southwest. I purchased a gorgeous ring made by Joe Piaso Jr., a talented artist who grew up on the Navajo Nation. The quality is exceptional, and the price was unbeatable—far better than anything I found elsewhere in town. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the store has a welcoming vibe that makes browsing a pleasure. Whether you're a collector or just looking for a meaningful gift, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
I could live in this store. The selection is large and authentic with pieces from many different local artisans. Bill and Monte were friendly and accommodating and knew the history and origin of many items. I left with so much stuff and was able to do all my Christmas shopping for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend.
