An amazing impromptu trip on Australia Day. Educational, Scenic and a great skipper made for a fun day. Definitely recommend the 90 minute trip. Made our 5 year olds day! A big thank you.
From start to finish, this was a fabulous experience! I love being out on the water, so I booked the full 90-minute Swan River Adventure Tour. - there's a shorter 45-minute one, too. I only wish it had been 180 minutes because I was having such a great time and didn’t want it to end! The tour departs from Elizabeth Quay and is the perfect way to experience the beauty of the Swan River and see Perth from a completely different perspective. It's a small group tour, which makes it feel more like heading out on the water with a few friends than being on a typical tour. Our skipper, Danny, was absolutely fabulous - friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. He shared interesting stories, pointed out local wildlife, and highlighted some truly stunning riverside real estate along the way. Even without dolphin sightings, the experience was still so much fun and far exceeded expectations. A huge thank you to Danny for being such a wonderful host and turning the trip into an unforgettable memory. The Swan River Adventure Tour with Wild West Charters was an absolute highlight and one I would 100% recommend. If you find yourself in Perth, don't miss this experience!
I was in the city taking pictures for an art project and I ended up in Elizabeth Quay. The person running the place approached and asked if I wanted to go on the tour. I was a bit hesitant but I talked to the guy for a bit and I decided why not. It was the 45 minute tour and it was so much fun! We went up and down the Swan River and the captain was playing some really good music as we were moving. He pointed out some noteworthy spots and gave some info on each which was lovely. It was also really chill and a very casual setting which I really enjoyed. We didn't see any dolphins but we did see some jellyfish!! And a pelican at Pelican Point which was perfect. The captain brought his dog who was an absolutely photogenic sweetheart and I love the little guy. The tour was really well paced, it never felt like too much and at no point was it boring. It was 45 minutes but it felt like 5. Overall, the tour was so much fun and I only wish it was longer. I had an absolutely amazing time. 10/10 would recommend!!
Randomly offered me a free ride to South Perth on New Years Eve when the ferry was overloaded and so busy. What can you say about this generosity, I cannot praise enough and will definitely return for a river cruise. Thank you so much and thank you for your generosity and Aussie spirit on New Years Eve. Had a lot of fun on this tour! Plenty of interesting educational content and beautiful views, and I particularly enjoyed the driving and humour supplied by the captain Dave. I fortunately joined as the 90 min tour was beginning - the time flew by so I don’t think the 45 min tour would have been enough! I wish I had brought along a friend to experience this as well, perhaps the next time I’m in Perth :)
