Pictures speak for themselves. I came in to have my chipped nails fixed, which happened in less than a week. This is the work I received. The owner (woman who answers the phone & tells you where to sit) did them and handled the situation in a very passive-aggressive way, while talking about me to the other employees in Vietnamese. She also was angry when I couldn’t remember the color I had, and proceeded to begin painting them an OBVIOUS wrong color until I told her it wasn’t right. She didn’t file them either as you can see from the pictures. Kelly does awesome work though. Just have to get the right nail tech. Although the demanding manager will stand over their back and rush them because they’re never on time bc when the manager answers she tells you to come in even if they don’t have time. Money hungry. No wonder Ken left.
YAME is my favorite place. I drive from Vancouver to go here. Today I got a pedicure and a manicure. I don’t normally get manicures but I figured I’d treat myself. I would definitely recommend just getting gel polish for manicures. I don’t like gel on my finger nails but it’s been 3 hours and my nail polish is still tacky. It just won’t harden so I’m not sure what happened there. I’m probably going to have to just take the polish off at this rate. My pedicure was amazing as always though.
They did a terrible job, the lengths are all different, they are cut crooked and they don't push back the cuticles. The staff is very rude and talk bad about customers while you are sitting in front of them, they said some horrible things about me in Vietnamese, if you think they are talking badly about you they are! I asked to see dark colors and the woman refused to show me any colors, she said they had black and that was it. I would not recommend this place and would not go back.
They’re so nice at Yame. It’s right down the street from my office so I stopped to get a fill. The woman who did my nails cut me twice, one of the times she just super glued it because it was bleeding. She acrylic isn’t even and the polish looks like there are maybe bubbles? A couple of the nails almost look a week grown out. They’re all really nice and it probably just depends on who does your nails.
Love Lena! She always knows how to create the perfect look. These new nails are gorgeous and I love how they're so stylish without being over the top. It’s that perfect balance of beautiful design that still looks clean and simple. Definitely my go-to artist. Update: 2 weeks later I got them done and just wow!!!! That green pops!!!
