I’ve always been a little skeptical of moving services just because I’ve never used them before, but I would 1000% recommend this moving company over and over again! The guys were extremely professional and handled everything with care! Since knowing that the move would be charged by the hour, I was a bit worried that individuals might show up with no sense of urgency. Not at all! These guys absolutely knocked it out the park! They Literally power walked through the entire move. Thank you to the guys who moved us through All My Son’s!
Mel and his team did a fantastic job! They took great care, had attention to detail, worked quickly, and were all around professional during the process.
WORST moving experience of my life.. DO NOT hire this company! You have been warned. The experience from start to finish was horrible and the staff are incredibly rude and condescending. The operations manager was supposed to call me ahead of the move to confirm details but never did until I reminded them 2 days before the move. We agreed the movers would start between 9 and 10 am, but the movers came at 8 am. I called the manager to ask why the movers came earlier than agreed to which he blatantly lied saying he heard me agree to 8 am. During the move the movers broke my $1,100 bed frame because they were too lazy to read the manual we provided them on how to disassemble the bed frame. This was after I was assured by the movers that “they know what they’re doing so I don’t need to buy insurance”. I will apparently have to fight to get fully reimbursed in court because this company has a history of shorting customers when they break things. I was originally quoted $149 per hour, but found out once all of my furniture was in the truck that there were a bunch of hidden fees in a contract that I was never given(at the start of the move they hand you a tablet where the agreement is hidden and all you can see is the signature bubble. You literally can’t pull up the contract). The movers started at 8:45 am and got to my new place at 11:54 am… before unloading they forced me to pay for the 3 hours + 2 more hours they estimated the movers would be done. So they literally held my furniture hostage… for 5 hours I should’ve been quoted $745 but was quoted almost $1200 with all of the hidden fees added. When I called the manager and told him I felt the $1200 was unfair he quickly changed the amount to $831. Which turned out to really total $931 because they kept the $100 deposit I gave them when I booked the move. Never in my life have I been so stressed during the move. The whole experience felt and still feels disgusting and slimy. I’m convinced the “good” reviews are fake and bought. I can never imagine how anyone would trust this company. If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely gross..
Amazing service from Gage, Chris H, and Li. They took extra care with all the furniture and packed everything up quickly. Definitely utilizing them for my next move!
I had an average experience. I think that is down to the main office (in TX) I believe. I was told that there was no additional insurance fee, after I repeatedly asked if they were sure, since other companies charge (I had a bug TV and few other computer screens to protect). They said that they would cover any damage cost, unlike other companies who charge an insurance premium. But on the day of moving, I was told that I needed to pay an additional $175 for this, I had no other choice then. Also, I had explicitly told them that I would require full moving (packing and unpacking) and I had other movers lined up willing to do it— however they seemed unprepared for it and eventually only unpacked my TV because they had to go back to Jacksonville at 5.30 pm. So I am now left with packing. I think they assumed the packing would be done in 2 hours but it ended up taking them 4.5 hours. I had asked them to come visit before the apt before they finalize timings and quotes, but at that time they seemed pretty confident. The movers seemed to be really nice guys and they did not question much but were following their time. Overall, costly and average service. Would I hire them again? Probably not. Would choose an option in Gainesville itself since they can give more time. Update: Going through my things, they were not packed well at all. Most of my liquid containers spilled liquid. I had told the movers that certain items were fragile and some still damaged. I will speak to their customer team. However, I have changed my review from 3 stars to 1 star now.
