Bree ( hope I spelled her name right ) is an amazing waitress. The food is light, fresh, and well seasoned. Everything was clean and spotless. We had an awesome experience. We will return.

Although I'm an American, I used to live in Italy as an adult for a few years, I speak Italian and I love true Italian cuisine. I tried this restaurant for the first time a few nights ago with my wife and my best friend and his wife when they were in town for the Christmas holidays. I worked with him in Italy when we lived there years ago. He is also an American (in fact, we grew up 4 blocks from each other and attended all three of the same schools through high school and we attended the same church-we've been best friends since high school and we're now in our dreadful 60s). He also speaks Italian. Anyway, this was the first time going to this restaurant for all of us. I found it by reviewing menus of Italian restaurants in the east Valley, looking for authentic cuisine. I must say that it was exceptional food. I got veal parmagiana with rigitoni and maranara sauce, and I found it to not only be authentic but quite delicious. We all loved our meals and we have all said that we'll be going there much more often, despite the 30 minute drive to get there. Well done. I just wish that they would open a restaurant in Mesa. BTW, Baci means Kisses.

The wait staff is friendly and attentive. They will check at least three times during meal to ensure you need anything, Food is consistently excellent, fresh and ingredients are all homemade. Our favorites include egg plant parmigiana but we love the veal dishes which are difficult to find at other places. We have been going there for 10 years and have never been disappointed. Their Chianti is wonderful, offered bottle or carafe or by glass. We no longer order carafe since we have gotten older, but their glass of wine is a generous pour. We dine outside when we bring our well behaved Standard poodle, but we call ahead to ensure there is no special event happening on the patio.

I brought the family here to try it out since we’ve never been here before. I made reservations for 5 and I was asked if I wanted a booth or a table. I opted for the booth thinking it would give up more room. That was a mistake, we were seated in a standard booth for 4 people with a chair at the end. We were very cramped and it wasn’t comfortable. Between all of us, we got the spaghetti carbonara, chicken limone, salmon paisano, chicken fettuccini Alfredo and cheese ravioli. All of the pasta and sauces were very good, but every the dish with chicken and salmon was dry and overcooked. The chicken looked and tasted like the pre-cooked grilled chicken strips that you buy in the frozen section at the store. It was so dry I was nearly inedible. The salmon was also overcooked and very dry. Our server was very good and attentive and made sure that all of our drinks were full and we always had fresh bread. I honestly don’t plan on going back.

My husband and I decided to try this place out and overall, we were pleased. They offer a nice Happy Hour pricing on a couple of their appetizers as well as beer/wine and well drinks. We liked the ambiance and the service was good as well. The entrees were tasty and the portions were large (I was surprised with the abundance of seafood served with my dish). Very reasonable prices for both the food and drinks. The only negative was that our Caesar salads were drenched in dressing (otherwise they would have been delicious).
