Cameron’s blowouts are THE BEST and it’s such a treat to visit her at beautiful Beau! I always leave my blowout appointments feeling refreshed with bouncy, healthy hair! I highly recommend adding on the red light therapy too - such a lush and relaxing experience!
Patrick is exceptional! His skill and attention to detail is impressive, and he brings a calm, thoughtful approach to every appointment. I trust him completely with my hair, I’m always so happy with the results. I’m really grateful to have found him, and Beau Salon has such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere!
I’m still trying to wrap my head around how I had my worst salon experience at an establishment rated so well, but after gaslighting myself for days that maybe I’m just not looking at my haircut from the right angle or maybe I’m just not styling it right, I’ve decided - this is simply a horrible haircut. If you don’t want all the details just look at the pics. The first picture is a screenshot from my inspo/reference video. Second pic is what I left the studio looking like. Third pic is up close of all the uneven areas of my bob. I booked myself for a cut and detox care with Patrick. The moment I entered the salon my main complaint about the current state of my hair was how straight it is due to a keratin treatment I was given unknowingly two months ago (different salon, long story). I showed Patrick the reference video which imo is not a precision bob. Patrick then proceeds to straighten all my hair with a flat iron and starts giving me a precision bob. I’m not a pro, I’m deciding to trust the process especially given how well rated this salon is. Just when he was done with the actual cutting and I thought he’d move onto softening the ends or taking some weight off at the bottom, he tells me that the haircut is done. And my hair is literally straighter than a ruler. I told him that the inspo haircut is not a precision bob. He says that it is. We watch the video again together. Precision bob or not, her hair is definitely a lot lighter at the ends and NOT JET STRAIGHT. Patrick agrees to take some weight off the bottom. He does one round. The haircut still doesn’t look right probably because it looks like two sheets of metal glued to the sides of my face. I ask him to style it and he tells me that his other client is already here… I’m not sure how any professional in the beauty industry is okay with their client leaving their seat rocking the very feature they had been complaining about the entire session - in my case my straight hair. I literally left the salon with my hair straighter than I had come in with. In the picture it softened a bit because of the misty weather on the walk home. I know a lot of people compare bad bobs to lord farquad but in my case it would’ve been a compliment. I’ve never had a nail stylist have me leave with my nails not fully cured because “their next client is here”. I’ve never left a waxing table with wax stick stuck to me because “their next client is here”. To me, this haircut is far from a finished product. Nor was it well done. I have spent the last four days styling it via blow drying, volume paste, thermal brush, curling iron, and nothing looks good because it is just a bad haircut. I have just accepted that it is money down the drain and I need to get my hair fixed by another professional. Long story short, if you want a bob cut DO NOT GO HERE.
Beau Team is incredibly talented! Patrick Uy is my amazing stylist — he helped me elevate my hair color from a blonde balayage to a stylish brunette that I absolutely love 😍. I just got a fresh haircut today, and I truly appreciate the care and detail he puts into every look. The ambiance at Beau is beautiful — from the music to the coffee to the warm and welcoming staff, everything is above and beyond. Beau is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hair salon you won’t regret.
Always have the most amazing experience with Patrick! Will come to him every single time and he will always deliver the results I want/need! He did an amazing job keeping my hair healthy when I was experiencing hair loss due to hormone imbalance. He knows how to give colour and cuts that always suit my face and skin tone. Will always recommend Patrick to anyone who compliments my hair 💗
