I got a tattoo done by Betty and she was great! The place was super comfy-cozy compared to the hardcore vibe of most tattoo shops. It was very clean and all the artists were very kind and professional. It was my first one but Betty offered to have my favorite music playing and she was very gentle. Overall great experience and I plan on going back in the future.
I’ve gotten 4 tattoos from Bluebird. 2 from Lyndsey, who was wonderful but has moved on to another shop; 1 from Louisa, a memorial piece for my first cat, and 1 from Whitley, a blue jay. I don’t think I’ll ever go anywhere else. My experiences here have been outstanding. Everyone is kind and so fun to work with. Whitley somehow did a tattoo on my foot that didn’t hurt much. The space is full of light and music and they create stunning art. Thank you for being you!
Louisa and the rest of the staff at Bluebird are not only amazing artists, but also girls girls in the best ways. Bluebird prides itself in their artistry and passion for their customers. If you're looking for a warm environment, a sweet hug, and someone to support you in walking away with a showstopping piece, look no further! I drive 2 hours one-way for their work. They are worth every mile!
I can't rave enough about Bluebird Ink and Betty Pain. My girlfriends were in town for Louder than Life music festival and wanted to get a matching tattoo together. We contacted Betty several months in advance to set up our appointment. The process to set up the appointment was very easy and she contacted us with a mock up of the design a couple of days prior to our appointment. She was very accommodating with our travel plans and flight schedules. When we arrived to the shop it was a beautifully curated space with lots of natural light, artwork and smelled amazing. It felt like being in a high end spa! I couldn't be more pleased with my tattoo. Betty had a very light hand and her attention to detail was incredible!
I can't wait to get up there and get this beauty finished. Lauren takes pride in her craft, and I truly enjoy working with her. Her flash is wonderful, but I have so many ideas, and she's brilliant at helping me realize them. Her creativity knows no bounds.
