I've worked with Butterfly Bakery for two birthday cakes and I've been so impressed with their talent and attention to detail! Each time they brought my ideas to life and in a short time frame! We received many compliments for these cakes. And the best part is they taste so good! I'm sold ☺️ thank you!
Butterfly bakery did a great job executing the vision I had for two cakes for my mother’s graduation. They took the inspiration pictures and instructions I gave them and executed them very well. I got a two tiered cake, one lemon raspberry the other choc salted caramel, and a white choc raspberry half sheet cake. All of the cakes were perfectly baked, the white choc was light and moist and the tiered were dense and so flavorful. The almond buttercream was so delightful and perfectly piped. The only critique I have is that the cakes needed more filling - the lemon raspberry had very thin raspberry filling especially. However, the layer of salted caramel buttercream in the chocolate was outstanding, and so thick which is exactly what I asked for. All in all, very well done.
For our wedding anniversary, we ordered a custom cake from Butterfly Bakery and they absolutely delivered something beautiful. The cake came out elegant, clean, and professionally finished. The top tier has those perfect horizontal ridges, and the bottom tier has a soft textured pattern that gives it a handcrafted, romantic look. It’s simple, classy, and exactly the style we were hoping for. The frosting work was incredibly smooth, the tiers were sharp and well balanced, and you can tell real care went into making it look flawless. It photographed beautifully and was a great centerpiece for our celebration. If you’re looking for a bakery in Lincoln that can execute a custom cake with skill and attention to detail, Butterfly Bakery is definitely worth checking out. We were really happy with how ours turned out and would trust them again for future events.
Butterfly Bakery did a wonderful job on our wedding cake and cupcakes. We got married in Nebraska but live in New York City, and despite the long distance—communicating only through emails and phone calls—everything was handled with such professionalism and kindness. The team was truly as sweet as pie. Not only were the cake and cupcakes incredibly moist and made exactly to our specifications, but they were also absolutely beautiful. Thank you for helping us perfect our wedding celebration. Your work added so much joy to our special day
Ok to be transparent, I’ve never ever ordered a custom cake before. I ordered the 8” round with a Jimmy Buffett theme for my dad’s birthday. The price kind of shocked me a little but I was committed to getting the best cake. I will say with 100% confidence… THIS WAS THE BEST CAKE EVER! They knocked the design out of the park and it was the best carrot cake we’ve ever tasted. I can’t recommend them enough. Get the cake. Eat seconds before it’s gone!
