I cannot recommend California Learning Center (CLC) highly enough! This center has made a remarkable difference in the academic success of all three of my children. Each of my kids has unique learning needs, and CLC has gone above and beyond to tailor their approach to ensure each of them excels. What truly sets CLC apart, however, is the way they have supported my daughter, who has an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The tutors have worked closely with her, understanding her specific goals and challenges, and have been instrumental in helping her meet and exceed her academic targets. The personalized attention and strategies they employ have made a world of difference, allowing her to thrive in areas that were once difficult. The staff at CLC are not just knowledgeable—they are compassionate, patient, and truly invested in the success of their students. The progress my children have made since enrolling here has been nothing short of extraordinary. We have been taking our daughter to California Learning Center and Sandy is truly amazing, we have noticed big difference with our daughter’s grades her grades went up dramatically. She struggled with math as well as phonics. Thanks to Sandy and her staff who helped her succeed. I would recommend the school to anyone who is struggling in school. This team is fantastic and truly cares about their students. If I can give 10 star I would they deserve it.
Both of my children have benefited from the great teachers and support at California Learning Center. My son is on the Autism spectrum and has an IEP. Sandy Hampton assisted our family with Special Education advocacy to help us navigate the confusing world of our public school district’s Special Ed professionals. He’s now a high schooler with incredible grades and a huge social circle. I truly believe that Sandy’s work has contributed to his huge success. My daughter was struggling with 3rd and 4th grade starting from the onset of the COVID epidemic. The switch to online classroom learning was extremely hard for her. She worked with Pam at CLC who tutored her. Most importantly, Pam helped her regain her confidence in the subject. My daughter losing her confidence felt tragic so having CLC’s support made a huge difference. She is going into 7th grade and talks about how much she LOVES math now! Thank you for helping my children, CLC!
California Learning Center has made such a difference in my daughter's understanding of math concepts. She was really struggling at school and she asked me to find her some help. I am so thankful that we ended up at CLC. Sandy and her team of tutors helped my daughter start to understand math on a level that I wasn't sure was possible. They are kind and encouraging and she loved going. I not only saw her math skills improve but she also gained confidence. The learning plans are personalized and flexible. They see what your student needs and they adjust to make sure they are meeting the student where they are at. They also make sure to have fun. They break up the learning with interactive games and activities. I highly recommend California Learning Center!
My son has been attending California Learning Center for the last year. He was falling pretty far behind in letters and reading through kinder and 1st. There is no way he would be where he is now with just school. They test, build a plan for them, and work it step by step. They have structure but recognize that the kids need wins to feel confident and move forward. Director Sandy Hampton and all of her instructors have been kind and communicative through the whole process. He has made massive improvements and even though we feel confident enough in his progress to stop the sessions now, we know they will always be a resource to go back for whatever challenges he encounters through his school years.
