I don’t like leaving critical reviews - they’re so subjective. Be that as it may, I felt duped from reading the reviews before attending myself. So here you go and of course, always appreciate one persons experience is not necessarily another’s: Nice enough people. It took two appointments/people to cut/colour, overpriced ($500-600 w tip) and was nothing that was asked for in the consultation (with pictures). When asked to correct the length on a short cut on one side, I was told no. Indicated multiple times in consult/day of that I didn’t want blonde balayage, but guess what it was… I was looking for a long-term spot but this was a very bizarre experience, left feeling awful and wouldn’t recommend. If you do go, be firm in what you want so you’re not still annoyed a year later, like I am.
Everyone I encountered at Cameron Hair Studio in Hamilton was beyond nice and accommodating. It was a great experience! Trish brought my vision to life and checked in with me several times throughout the process to make sure I was comfortable and satisfied. I will be back, and I definitely recommend!! Well worth the price. :)
I’ve been getting my hair done here for over 10+ years and I’ve never once considered going anywhere else. Cameron is truly the BEST. Goes above and beyond to ensure Im happy with my cut / Balayage every single time… I always look forward to an upcoming appointment. The salon and staff are 10/10!!!
I really enjoyed my experience and 10/10 recommend Cameron Hair Studio, and their junior stylist Abby. Abby is so sweet and has a lot of knowledge. She takes her time to understand what you want and was great at bouncing ideas/recommendations. She's inclusive when you're sensitive about skin/hair issues. She precisely gave me the cut and styled I wanted but made it look better than I could have imagined. I felt super welcomed by everyone working at the studio, not just my stylist. Everyone is really kind. They also offer espresso, tea, water, etc. the Flat White was amazing. Can't wait to come back!
I went to Trish.... SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE. Hair was over processed and nothing like the pictures I showed. I was told by Cameron I could get a 200$ card from them but then was blocked aha. I was going to give a 5 start just because Cameron's attempt to fix the situation but the situation was not solved. I simply asked if Cameron could fix my hair and was declined and told to go back to Trish. I refused because she ruined my hair colour in the first place and she told me all she could do is re-tone it? So now my hair extreamly damaged, I have to now fix it myself, I never received any money back or a correction for her mistakes. I also didn't recieve the card which I don't even want because a 200$ card to buy there hair products will not solve the problem. This has cause me so much stress. I honestly am never going back to a salon after the experience. The first picture is the colour I showed for reference of the colour I was hoping for. The second picture is the style of balayage I was hoping to achieve. The pictures after the first 2 is how my hair turned out after the "colour correction" and balayage.
