After spending £7.5k on sofas, and a similar amount with the same store over the last 4 years, they refused to provide the required battery to operate the recliners. They attempted to charge us an additional amount on top of the £7.5k after the sofas were delivered. Apparently my partner "should have known the batteries weren't included". My partner spoke with store director Paul Griffin, who smugly and rudely advised to "read the terms and conditions". Really petty stuff from this company showing little in the way of brains, acumen or customer service. We'll not be spending another penny with this outfit.
We bought a sideboard, dining table and chairs from this company. Chris was a brilliant salesman who very knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. He processed the sale without any hiccups. Sadly one of the chairs arrived with strange marks and Pratts agreed this wasn't acceptable and got the supplier Bentley's to exchange it. This took about a month to do which was annoying but it was near the Xmas period. Imelda in the complaints department was very good and understood the chair wasn't acceptable and arranged the swap. She even called to ask how the exchange went which was nice and reassured us she would always be there to help. I have only given 4 starts as I feel Bentley's shouldn't have let the chair go out of their factory like this and Pratts should have realised it was defective before delivering to us as they are meant to check them beforehand. I do still recommend the company however as they did show willingness to correct the problem instead of ignoring me.
We dealt with Anna over 2 weekends and found her friendly, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. She listened to what we wanted and was very patient which allowed us to make the right decision. We are delighted with the 2 sofas we purchased. Highly recommend Anna, and Christopher Pratts, who have a fantastic range of furniture. Kevin and Karen Lawson
We had a fantastic experience at Christopher Pratts thanks to Lisa, our wonderful sales assistant. From the moment we walked in, she was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. She took the time to help us with measurements, made sure the sofa we chose would fit perfectly in our space, and even suggested great alternatives to consider. Lisa really understood what we were looking for and guided us to the perfect sofa for our home. The ordering process was seamless, and delivery was smooth and on time. We couldn’t be happier with both the service and the quality of the sofa. Highly recommend Christopher Pratts and especially Lisa for anyone looking for expert advice and excellent customer care!
Fantastic shop and service. Chris Barrowclough was so helpful but not the least bit pushy. Ended up buying 3 sofas and 2 Accent chairs from their extensive selection. Customer service great and delivered by two really helpful and considerate delivery guys within 6 weeks of ordering. I would always go straight here for other furniture purchases - quality and service much better than other sofa shops and prices are very comparable.
