Got an elbow tat from Wakako and couldn’t be happier with it! She is a great communicator prior to the appointment, incredibly talented as an artist, a blast to chat with during the process, and did I mention her art skills?! I get stopped on the street by strangers who ask me where I got my elbow tat from! I can’t wait to get back into the shop in the winter and get another one from her :) the shop is clean, well maintained, and the vibes are immaculate. The other artists are also super friendly! 100% recommend this shop for all your tattooing needs
Citadel tattoo is a comfortable, fun, and easygoing shop full of incredible artists. The shop features a wide range of styles, tending towards both American and Japanese traditional. The shop is clean, the artists are friendly, and the shop feels like a safe place to be. Prices are very reasonable and wait times are as well. Shout out to Morgan for making and maintaining such an inclusive and welcoming shop.
My favorite tattoo shop in all of Minneapolis! Morgan does phenomenal work. You’re always welcomed in by friendly professionals that are excited to tattoo something rad. I get compliments almost daily on my tattoos and I always point people to the Citadel Tattoo Shop! You guys are the best!
I’ve been a client of Beckett’s three times each time I’ve gotten tattooed has been a wonderful experience. Everyone there is very friendly and welcoming. I’m a very awkward person and at citadel I felt natural and comfortable. Whatever art style of tattoo you are looking to get I guarantee you one of citadel’s extremely talented artists will be more than able to fulfill whatever you are trying to get. The artwork is top tier, the people are top tier, the vibes are top tier. Price and scheduling are also great! Very flexible and understanding of any situation that might affect getting tattooed. All around a fantastic place with a amazing staff.
The only place I'll go for tattoos. I primarily see Morgan Carpenter, but everyone there is not only an amazing artist, but fun humans to talk with. The shop itself is beyond clean and gives those old school vibes WITHOUT the unflattering part of an old school shoppe. Worth the money and the time, Citadel is your go to permanent art stop!
